1. We have a Nonprofit Std Permit #358. Every month (sometime in the last week) we send out 286 6"x9" envelopes classified as "letters." Bulk mail is not forwarded so we get envelopes "return to sender - postage due" usually 70 cents. When we have a correct address (per the USPS website) and the individual has been getting mail at this address for years, sometimes the envelope comes back "not deliverable as addressed - unable to forward. Those envelopes should not be "not deliverable." For over a year, the letter carrier does not come into the building to collect the postage due.
2. We have a tenant who rents space in our temple, Mayan Hands LLC. We have one mailbox for both the temple and the tenant. Mayan Hands sends out several boxes of orders everyday M-F. On some days, our letter carrier never comes and our tenant has to bring them in so they are not out overnight. On some days, the letter carrier picks up our outgoing mail that's in the mailbox but leaves the packages that are outside under the mailbox.
3. Our letter carrier delivers the mail anywhere between 10 am and 7 pm. We usually leave the office around 5:30. One Friday, we left at 6 pm, the letter carrier hadn't come & the large packages were left out from Friday am-Monday am.
Mayan Hands has called Terminal Annex to complain, but the complaint falls on deaf ears and nothing is done to correct it.
I sent in a complaint claim online in December 2021 (conf #33416933) addressing these concerns and it was never followed up with a phone call or an email. I did get a subsequent email at the end of December requesting to rate the service I received to come to a resolution of my complaint -- and I received NO SERVICE! (518) 482-5283 Thank you.
