The post office that has only one clerk usually working at the front even doing passports that I’m speaking about is on Colvin Street at the corner of South Salina’s Syracuse New York

I have a post office box in this post office and I am continually concerned about the lack of counter person‘s for instants today the wait was up to 15 minutes with a lobby full of people because one clerk has to also process passport application. This is not fair to all people who are standing in a lobby while we still have Covid to be concerned with and being cramped in small spaces!

Mail delivery on W Matson is the worst . I'm not sure it's always the same mailman because I don't really know our mail person, sometimes the stature looks like it's a different person. Without fail it seems weekly, that we are getting some else's mail in our mailbox or someone is bringing us our mail that was put in their box. It doesn't do any good to put the mail back in the box for the mail man to take on the following day bcuz he won't take it. We even get mail from neighboring streets in our box. I have even flagged him down to give him the mail and he acts as though I am offending him. Many of the neighbors are complaining.

I Absolutely Love our Mail Lady... I forgot to ask her name again cause I am horrible with names but do not want her to leave this route she is the only one that i actually can talk to and get feedback from because we own property around the south side. Everyone else that delivers mail won't even come in and ring the bell we are a business and have outgoing mail almost everyday. Please reconsider her for this route.

I have an issue with receiving my packages delivered to my door. . I live in an Apartment that offers lockers but they are not of any use to Customers who have disabilities. I spoke with a very rude young man on Saturday 5/31. He told me he was told he has to put packages in the locker as that is what his Boss has told him. He was very rude. He was not our regular Carrier. I have had Postal Service for over 35 years with this location and my Carrier, James and the Staff at the location have always been very helpful. Difficult to reach by phone, However, always willing to help a Customer. Sad to see so many negative comments. For the most part, I can always count on my Postal Service. I also ship many Priority Packages and have experienced no delays.

I have that mail tacking app to show me what mail is coming that day and yesterday I was supposed to get my SSI card and. Mother's day card from my mother in law and a letter from my son and my son was supposed to get a piece of mail from the department of Treasury and he was supposed to get a piece of mail from the department of Onondaga county. We never got our mail and now it's saying today that we are supposed to get a letter from United health care. Stop switching mail carriers because they don't read the names I keep get mail for people who don't live here and my neighbors keep bringing me my mail and then I have a video door Bell they don't ring it when the leave a package they throw the package on the porch and keep it moving.

USPS... I don't know what your problems are. WE ALL understand Covid-19. The unnecessary lies!... I was outside from 5p-8p. There is one way in and one way out of my building. I was sitting there enjoying the summer air. Then I get an notification explaining: Due to obstruction at address location package undelivered. USPS NEVER CAME!! or stated when update occurred when will USPS try to redeliver package? Fedex getting somewhat back to normal UPS getting somewhat back to normal Covid & Trump is putting a strain on all of us. Do better, we as a nation need you!! I went to one of USPS location and this woman paying for P.O. Box for 6 months. Have not rec'd any mail or permits for her business and was there 3x's times proper. The postal woman at the half door slammed the top half of the door in her face. They continued to tell her to come back. The rudeness is real. We ALL have a choice. Know better... Do Better!

I ordered a package, and their saying an exception, going back to sender! What does that mean? Why? Can’t get a straight answer! The package went thru FedEx then transferred to USPS, FedEx can’t give me #, USPS won’t answer?

Multiple instances where my package has not been delivered because they "cannot reach the delivery location" when there has been nothing that could even remotely be considered blocking either the walkway or front door area of my house. Seems to me the driver forgets my package in the truck/misses it when out for delivery, then just logs it as "unable to reach location". This has happened multiple times.

I live in the Valley of Syracuse,( Cheltenham rd) the mail carriers are making mistakes more than they should. My mail is being delivered several blocks away, and being delivered to my neighbors. My neighbors are having the same complaints.

I am in total agreement with this post. I live one street over from this poster and have also experienced a significant decline in the quality of service during the past few years. I initiated contact with Colvin St USPO “managers” starting in the spring of 2018 - have spoken with 5 different managers since that time and the problem with my mail delivery is ongoing. I’ve received my neighbor’s mail, they have received mine and sometimes, I even receive mail for people that live several streets away. Mis-delivery of one bill resulted in a late payment on my part - which then resulted in loss of a premium rate I had enjoyed; I now pay an additional $120 per year for this service. My monthly bank statement went to my neighbor (thankfully, she made sure it got to me). I wasn’t so lucky with a statement regarding my IRA account (with my SS#, as well as the account identification number) - this envelope had been OPENED before being placed in my mailbox. I can only hope that it had originally been mis-delivered and a neighbor opened it without realizing it wasn’t their mail, then just placed it in my mailbox. Nevertheless, the potential for easy identity theft is made even easier by these sloppy mail delivery practices. Calls to the USPS “customer service” number in Colonie NY (total of 5 to date) just loop you back to the Colvin St personnel. Promises are made to “talk” with the mail delivery person, as well as placing an “alert” to (supposedly) increase attention and decrease instances of mis-delivery. Doesn’t seem to have any impact to date. Frustrating, given the USPS is the only option for mail delivery.

On 7-28-2020 I received my mail at 7:30 pm, I guess after that I received 4 packages, 3 of which were not mine, although the same house number I don't know where you get Cheltenham from Warrington Sts. This happens ALL the time. The 4th package is mine and contains medicine, a knock on the door would have been nice seeing that it was past 8pm. I'm glad someone didn''t get my medicine. I'm flipping tired of doing your job for you, I shouldn't have to deliver other peoples mail and packages for you. Should put me on the payroll!!!!!!!!

A postal truck hit my car on 11/3/18. I have left many messages for Darren the supervisor and Rose in the Albany office. Darren passes me off to Rose and I have left her 6 messages. NO RESPONSE and it's almost 2 weeks. Police report filed and it's the PO fault. Any ideas? This is horrible customer service! I need to get my car fixed!

4 years ago a package was not delivered to me and insurance was purchased. the PO said it was deliverd and referred me to albany. I tried for 6 months to get a response and then gave up. To this day I have not received a response. For you issue, I suggest contacting your local congressman.
