Where is my son’s package? There business moved last week and the mail should have been forwarded to their new businesse. Instead it says delivered to the mailbox, the business does not have a mailbox and the previous owner stated they have lots of packages missing that they are waiting for at the Magnolia Park. Where is all this businesses mail from the second floor. So if there is no mailbox where are all the packages and mail at? We will be contacting the usps Marshall to see who is stealing packages. This is ridiculous and against the law.

This is the worst delivery service ever. I had a package that should of been here today But the Birmingham Postal Distribution screwed up. First instead of send it to Gadsden they send it to Huntsville then its sent back to Birmingham and again they screw up next as of today they sent it to Vinemont. They should fire the whole crew and get workers who know how to read addresses or if it's the machines replace them.

I received a message I have a package to be delivered from Mexico. They are requesting $300 for delivery and $300 when I receive it. I’m thinking this is a scam. This person is using Birmingham Post Office heading. Please check it out for me to see if it’s legit. Thanx

I have had several packages high dollar that never showed up to my house. It says it has been in transit are left its destination from Birmingham annex. I know for a fact someone has to be stealing this. I ship out and receive baseball cards with tracking and they never get here. I would like to get my hands on them cuz nobody else will do their job. I returned a package on 11/20/2020. Recipient have not received returned package as of 22 Jan 2021, therefore, I cannot receive my refund. I went to my local post office, they only say package is in Birmingham, AL distribution center and a label have not been created.

I had a package shipped from Brooklyn, NY to Rome, GA. It made it to Cartersville, GA (20 minutes from Rome, GA) very quickly and was set to deliver on time only to be diverted 2 hours away to Birmingham where it has shuffled between Birmingham facilities for days. They are actually spending more money by diverting packages than simply delivering them. Thank you Mr. DeJoy. What a joke.

My package has been sitting across town at: BIRMINGHAM AL DISTRIBUTION CENTER ANNEX since the 9th of November. It's January 7th now and was shipped on November 6th.

My package ordered on Dec 4th is still not here. It left NC on the 17th. The next update on the app was on the 25th saying it was checked in at Birmingham distribution annex. Next update 29th “in transit” NOTHING.

After three months of waiting for a package from japan, it finally arrived to my state (dec 8, LA, Cali.). After that, i expected to receive it within the next few days, since that’s how it’s always been. After no updates, I checked today to see if there would be one and for some reason I can’t understand, it got sent to this Alabama’s distribution center (dec 19th) and I don’t understand why. This never happened before and I don’t know why they would send a package across the state from its destination, especially after being close to its destination. Im worried it’ll be delivered somewhere else now.

Use UPS if possible.....My item was shipped via USPS on 12/1/2020, and was supposed to arrive 12/10/2020. According to their tracking system, my package has been sitting at the Birmingham, AL, facility since 12/10/2020. It is now 12/22/2020, and it still shows "In Transit". I realize this year is different......not only are they dealing with seasonal influx of parcels, but they are also contending with more parcels due to people shopping online due to COVID. I get it....However, someone somewhere, should have had a least the thought this would happen - and that efforts should be made to address the incredible influx of mail. Seriously......Total fail on USPS!

I have been tracking my package since it shipped.. the issue I have is that Fyffe Al. scanned the package in and back out. Since then there has been no movement on my package. This item was sent on the 7th and supposed to be delivered on the 11th. I have started a ticket with my local post office and when I called Fyffe I was told the package had been sent from them to the Birmingham distribution center. I want to know where my package is and WHY IT HASNT MOVED! Christmas is less than a week away and this is my MAIN gift for my child. Im not very happy with this, something needs to be done!!!!

I have also had a package sitting at the distribution center for quite some time and agree it's unfortunate & frustrating. What I don't agree with is the focus of the frustration. I find it kind of ironic and hysterical the folks in AL especially blaming USPS instead of the guy who tried to dismantle & defund the USPS AND removed sorting machines all so he could win an election. A guy who also mismanaged COVID so badly there aren't any healthy employees to take care of the mail.

I ask my carrier today if my local post office is getting any deliveries out of this Birmingham facility and she said " a few" meaning hardly any at all. Something has to be done about this place. People have tried to actually go there to get the packages only to be told "it's like looking for a needle in a haystack." This has to be illegal. I am all for suing this place. Anyone else in???

My package shipped from PA to OH was sent to Birmingham Alabama and has now been there for a week. Where is the logic in Alabama as a via point between PA and OH? Package was ordered Dec 5 and supposed to be guaranteed Dec 11. Arrived in Alabama Dec 13 and looks like still there. I am now resigned to giving this as a 2021 Christmas present now. I understand how much pressure those poor men and women face on a daily basis; the only thing I can say is, poor management causes tons of issues and delays and lost many business.

I have a few packages I purchased online including one from my Grandma still waiting in Birmingham. And I’ve never waited this long because shipping usually is lightning fast so this is very unbelievable and pathetic.

Not that this will fix anything, but my household has 5 or more packages that have been stuck in Birmingham for some time now. Just putting this out there so people are aware there are more of us than the ones speaking up on here. One of those packages had meds for my mother in law. She needs her nebulizer treatment. Humana had to ups her antibiotics because those were in the same package. Where are our packages? My mother in law is trying to recover from pneumonia. Meds shouldn't be sitting in the mail for well over a week.

I have called multiple numbers and spent over an hour trying to get a person on the phone. Our package that was scheduled to be delivered on 12/3/2020 has been sitting at the USPS Birmingham Center since 12/2/2020. This cost us an entire month's delay in service. I would like to be contacted today with a location I can pick up the package myself.

We have a package departed from Trussville -AL, that apparently arrived to Birmingham downtown (we just got a notification that it left Trussville and it’s arriving late..) the sender went to the post office and they assured her that it’s in Downtown Birmingham. The pack was sent on Nov 30th. Tried to call, even to fax, tried the customer service, opened a ticket, NOBODY answers, nobody has a reply wich is not some automated message about covid and rest assured that we do our best crap. Our last option is to drive for 12 hours to see if we can take our package, it’s insane, totally insane. They drive people crazy

I'm having the same problem. My ebay order arrived to this facility Dec 4, and since then it's not moving. Nobody is answering and the staff were reported to be very rude and not helpful. I need my package and I paid a lot for that. What's going on there? Does the United States of America knows about these? With allll the customers complaints of " lost packages", I believe this facility should undergo a deep investigation. I JUST NEED MY PACKAGE!!! THIEVES!

Birmingham distribution center needs to be investigated If any mail goes through there center count on it being lost I have had 30 packages die there over the past year ....I have paid extra to eliminate surepost shipping as its a joke I have sent hundreds of emails and they are ignored ....my local post office has the same complaints about them they said this happens 20 times a day every day and theres nothing they can do

I am absolutely so upset. I have a gift that I was supposed to receive that has been sitting in Birmingham for 6 days, no movement whatsoever. I cannot get a response from anyone. Customer service is a joke. My local post office supervisor tells me that my package is not lost but to contact the sender and see what they can do to get my item to me. Also when i filed a inquiry about a missing package the case was opened until today when it said it was resolved. Ummm... No! It is not resolved until i have my item. I think there is a mail associate walking around with my gift on their wrist if you want to know the truth. I ordered from the company instead of Amazon.. Big mistake because now i will only be ordering items through my prime So I never have to deal with this unorganized, run around garbage again. So basically it feels as if they are saying it is lost. I just want to go to the annex and pick it up myself but when I ask they give me the run around. This is crazy ridiculous when I have had other packages delivered thru USPS that i ordered after this particular one. Never again will i ship anything important thru usps. This Birmingham location has issues. I have a priority mail package 9405536895232103407952 that has been just sitting at this location with no travel. Someone needs to look into what is going on and correct the problem so peoples mail moves through the facility like it is supposed to.

I am not pleased at all with the recent experiences I have had with the Pinson post office. I am a business that ships a large number of packages. We have a new carrier and she is doing a great job, but they send people to "help" from various routes and we have caught several not scanning our packages. When we didn't receive all of our mail one day and I also saw someone pick up our boxes without scanning them I called to complain and I was hung up on by the "supervisor".....so I went down to the Pinson post office in person the following Monday. The clerk was EXTREMELY rude when I asked to speak to the postmaster. She finally went to get someone after huffing, rolling her eyes and stomping away. The supervisor that had previously hung up on me the prior day came out and, with a dead expression on her face, apologized when I pointed out how rude the clerk just was. When I voiced my concerns about what was going on with my service she said she would tell the carriers to scan my packages and for me to give it some time as far as my lost mail was concerned. I'm just at a loss as to how a group could act so horribly and do such a minimal effort toward helping with a problem. I will be researching my options and doing what I can to pay a different service for our business packages. I cannot go on to pay over $60,000.00 per year to a business that treats customers the way I was treated.

This company sucks! I have been trying to call for DAYS, and no one picks up the phone!!!! They have had my package for over 10 days now without delivering it. I have one confirmation stating that the package was received and accepted on Jan. 6th. But on the USPS tracking website it says it hasn't been accepted yet. Make up your mind and answer the phone. I want my package and I want an answer from someone that actually knows how to answer a phone!!!!
