The Post Office lady gave me my new address for the box. She wrote in 85076 for 11010 S 51st St Phoenix AZ I have been getting all my mail. My family is livid that it is 85044 and it screwed up her banking et cetera.

Who was the rocket scientist who decided that we didn't need the two large drive through drop off containers--- replacing it with one that you can mail only single letter sized envelopes and not even within reach of any car short of exiting your vehicle. So I guess you want to inconvenience your customers as much as possible. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. If your goal is to get shutdown--- you've got my vote based on your general incompetence on so many things. But this outdoor mail containers situation is so infuriating. I would try to talk to someone at the post office but they all seem more interested in how they act more like some classic service lacking DMV out post. Stop sucking so much.

Two packages are listed as delivered to our locked mailbox yesterday at 1:48PM. We did not receive either. Our Anniversary cards a few weeks ago were all torn and opened. My husband’s Birthday Cards in June were also torn and opened. This is a chronic problem. Neighbors have all complained similarly. Someone needs to be fired.

THE WORST POST OFFICE IN THE UNIVERSE. Granted, I have never been on another planet, but these idiots could give any incompetent alien a run for their money. We have lived in Ahwatukee for 8 years and have had nothing but issues with this post office. Undelivered mail, "missing" packages, mail that requires a signature left in the mailbox (not a locked mailbox), notices left that package is undeliverable because nobody home to sign (we work from home, we're always here). Do not waste your time, go to the Tempe post office on Priest, they are awesome.

I am visiting here in Phoenix for a few months. I had my daughter send my vehicle tags via regular mail ( which I shouldn't have) and with my name and correct local address. It came down here and was sent back with the notation on the front that attempted delivery was made. Hogwash. I have been at the address for weeks waiting for this piece of mail. I was under the impression that it doesn't make a difference who's name is on the envelope, as long as it is an accurate address. It isn't the Post Office's job to determine who lives where but to deliver the mail to the address on the envelope. If a person doesn't live at the address it is up to the house owner to redirect the mail, not the Post Offices. If the job is done correctly the first time, Postal patrons such as myself won't have to suffer for it.

The local 480 phone number is ALWAYS busy, why even list it? The 1-800 # does not allow you to talk to a person, just the roundabout options game. In person, this office is quite friendly and efficient. They just need to provide a working local number for its customers.

Yesterday was a postal holiday (Columbus Day). It's now 2:40 p.m. the next day, the post office does not answer their phones and our commercial mail has not been delivered. I guess today is a post-postal holiday. Nice to see government employees are serious about their duty to deliver mail. It can't be due to lack of wages or benefits.

I just want to give a shout out to Diane at the 51st Street location. She saved us big-time today. She very calmly dealt with 2 hyper parents to get our son's passport renewed (we had encountered a host of issues and she was the last stop). I just wanted to let her know that she is appreciated!

I had a package addressed to me returned to sender as undeliverable as addressed because the city said Ahwatukee but the zip said 85048. Talk about ignorant government employees. Two post offices service South Mountain area of Phoenix: (Ahwatukee 85044) and Desert Pkwy (85048). My street address is in the 85048 zip. My package was sent to 85044 post office. So does this mean the zip means nothing and the post office goes by the city instead? My package should have gone to 85048 post office and they would know my address was valid for their zip code even though the city said Ahwatukee (which is an unincorporated area of Phoenix located in the South Mountain area which is where I live and everyone refers to the area as Ahwatukee) Which is it? Zip code or City name that is most important????

I have live in Ahwatukee for over 40 years and not once have I ever experienced any of the complaints listed. I can't believe my timing has always been that good that I only went there when the motivated and friendly people were working that day.

worst post office experience I've ever had. Was in town from DFW , needed to mail something, was just going to use the self serve. I arrived at the post office shortly after it opened. the self serve was NOT stocked with envelopes, therefore it was NOT self serve. The lazy girl at the counter rudely told me that she didn't have time to stock it as she was all alone there. OH WAIT, here's a suggestion, stock it before you open the doors!" she then told me to wait in line to get a box as she was too busy to hand me one while the guy at the counter got his stuff together(he wasn't actually ready to be helped). when I complained she rudely told me to shut up and stand in line. I told her now I see why you get bad reviews here and she says. "We make a ton of money at this office" .NOT MINE, honey, I left and went elsewhere. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Horrible, horrible service. Between not having mail delivered, mailed stolen, and now not getting the post man to actually deliver the mail. The management is horrible in ahwatukee---I use the post office near my school to make sure items are delivered. Don't trust these people! Rude and disrespectful. They should be fired.

I purchased a housed and moved to Ahwatukee about a few month ago. I found that the mail box key was not working so I requested to change the key. They gave me a hard time for verification process and told me it would take forever (3~4 weeks). Until the key is fixed, my mail would be held in the post office. It has been more than 5 weeks. I called to check the status. The lady said the supervisor would need to check and took my message to have the supervisor call me back. No calls from the supervisor. I tried to call them back but their lines always go to fax if nobody answers. I have a full time work in East Mesa and it is not easy to visit the post office. I just want to receive my mails. Very frustrating.

Get OTHER JOBS LIKE EVERYONE HAS TO !!! And if they dont like then take it with their currupted liberal government bankrupting this country.

This post office has some of the most unprofessional, rude, unkind people I have ever encountered in the customer service industry. You can tell they sincerely don't care if they help you or not. If I had a choice of where my mail was sent, I wouldn't want it sent to them. I have never experienced more of a "pass the buck" situation than when working with them. No one wants to own their own problem, and are more concerned with getting out the door than helping the person on the line. Ridiculous. I have never felt like I was inconveiniencing anyone more than I did when I was simply trying to find my package. Very sorry for asking you to do your job.

Something is not working with this post office. For decades I have received the same 2 news magazines on Friday, even in rural Arizona. But since I've moved to Ahwatukee I'm lucky if they're delivered in the same week let alone Friday. My guess is this branch is under-staffed or poorly managed. My inquiry was summarily dismissed. If this office is run by a contractor, I think it needs a new contractor.

I have never experienced rude customer service like this ever in my life. I called in regards to a lost letter and Dicey, the supervisor, hung up on me because I asked to speak with someone else who would speak nicer to me. I know other people that go to the same PO and I heard the same response. Something needs to be done if they're receiving terrible reviews from not only this sight but other sights, as well.
