This post office has horrible customer service. When I was still living in the area, but the cashier admonished me for using another name besides the one on my ID for a package, and threatened not to give it to me just because the names didn’t match. Well, what would’ve happened if that would’ve been a package addressed to my child? I just wouldn’t have gotten it?
Anyway, I moved and even though I filed a change of address and contacted the location when I noticed that the packages were out for delivery to my old address and was told they would be forwarded to the new address, they were returned to sender. Even the USPS 800 number says they were returned! Don’t tell me you’re going to forward them, if you’re just gonna return them to sender!
one of the clerks at this location allowed someone without getting a photo ID from them to put a Hold mail on my mail without my permission and will not prosecute this person for doing so, this person has never lived at my address , not related to me in any way what so ever yet they were allowed to Stop my mail from being delivered to my home WHY? This is a felony and it's not the first time this person has done something like this Yes I filed a report with the postal inspector but they dropped the case because they said I am now getting my mail.. I didn't get my mail for a week and important court papers that I didn't get in time so THAT case was thrown out... What good are laws if your not going to enforce them.
Most reviews are complaints of poor experiences. But mine is the opposite. I’ve had my fair share of undelivered packages, usually from companies in China. I found out most were purchase scams that never had the products in the first place. Thank goodness I use PayPal for assured refunds on these fraudulent scams! This latest fraud, I called the Boulder Hills USPO and spoke with Jason Reynolds for more information. He was very tentative, checked to be sure these purchases matched the weight charge of what I paid. They were way off proving I was scammed. He had a calm sense of humor that made me laugh. He said I was scammed and they see regularly billions of dollars stolen from people by companies claiming to sell products, charging high prices and postage, then mail something else to customers like me. Jason took time to look up information to help me, giving me suggestions how to prevent scammed products. I was very impressed with his professionalism and whit. What was nice to hear, Jason said the USPS has been trying to stop these fraudulent practices from continuing and continue to fight it. He was sincere when he said it really bothered him and the USPS that this happens daily where many people lose so much money and it needs to be seriously addressed and stopped. Thank you, Jason Reynolds, for all your help and genuine concerns! I hope there are many others like you working for the USPS. You deserve recognition, so here it is !!!
I had a package misdelivered a month ago. Someone slapped an address label next to a perfectly legible address. Their address was totally wrong and the package went to a house at the other end of the neighborhood. Today I'm again dealing with a package that didn't arrive. Fed Ex had my package delivered by USPS. So disappointed.
Mail carrier never delivers our packages despite placing a note in our mailbox stating they "tried". My husband and I both have been home at the time they say the "attempted", which they did not. Spoke to the mail carrier and he could care less. Stated "go tot he post office and pick it up, what would you like me to do about it". Customer service completely lacking, totally useless and he couldn't care less. This is the second package I've had to "track down" as a result of their "attempt" to deliver. I am not one for leaving reviews, but felt it necessary. I hope someone with some authority at the Post Office reads these and plans on doing something to change the process, because right now it is broken and I am one very unhappy customer.
Quite frequently a neighbor knocks on the door with mail clearly addressed to us that has been placed in someone else's mailbox. I often wonder what I don't get??????? The latest incident was the worst - an Rx was shipped to me from Buckeye on Nov. 14th and still had not arrived by the 19th. Tracking said out for delivery, and then Alert, "Delivery Exception" - whatever that means????? Imagine my surprise when a stranger knocked on our door today with my meds and said they had been delivered to her mailbox. To say that we are unhappy with the mail service is putting it very nicely! We will gladly accept an apology and some assurance that this poor service will be addressed. Waiting to hear from you......
Carrier NEVER delivers packages to my house NOR leaves them in the RURAL box on busy Cave Creek Road (we can't move it to our home because Postmaster refuses to let us). Forced to get a PO box as mail gets stolen. I've waited in long 45 minute lines twice this week for a package the Postal Clerk says she will have Carrier Supervisor look into. No one has called or looked into it. The recorded message is that it was delivered by the carrier to our mail box! I just got two other pick up slips for Boots & Perfume I know this 6 month supply $200 order wouldn't fit in the Rural Mail Box. They lost it or put it somewhere else. You can't reach the Postmaster & packages are piled up all over the counter. The Auto Serve was jammed so no way to use it! The bottom pivot on door has been busted 3 months, this is really dangerous, the door is held open with a rubber door stop its unbalanced a slight bump & it'll fall & shatter all over the place!
I guess the phone number is permanently busy. I have no way of getting in touch with someone unless I drive there and wait in the never ending line, just to be told they don't know where my package is. Ugh!
Phone number is busy or disconnected. General number does not allow you to speak with an operator. Total service is negative. Other offices are incapable of transferring a call. Completely farcical. Lose my mail and I can't pay my bills and I am the enemy.
