Today 2/5/24 my mail was delivered outside of the mailbox, our mail was laying on the ground on top of my rock yard. I have been living at this address since 2008 and I have NEVER had such careless mail delivery. The mis-deliver mail was my Offical Election Mail (all wet). It’s a shame.
I have had horrible service from this P.O. they have lost multiple packages and have done nothing. The mail carriers are either stealing the packages or the PO is covering for their incompetent employees.
Some have tried to help, but overall a criminal organization.
Would like to thank all the staff that works at Shaw Butte Post Office. Especially Robert the front desk personal greeting all the customers and helping them in every aspect he can help them with regarding Mail. The greeter at the front door excellent customer Service greeter. Plus thank you to all the front desk staff. They all go far and beyond to help us.
I have a complaint. Mail has not been delivered to the community mail box at 12445 N. 21st Avenue for 4 days now. This is ridiculous. The box where the postal worker keeps the keys for the large boxes is wide-opened and not locked. I need my mail delivered. I received an email from two sellers that said my mail had been delivered on 11/20 and 11/23; it had not. I had to pick it up today. Whatever is going on it needs to be fixed and soon. Thank you.
I recently had an issue with my local post office branch, Shaw Butte, when I attempted to send a package to my husband overseas, via his APO address. I was told that the mailing address that he had given to me was “undeliverable” as it typed into the mailing computer system. I was told to check with him to make sure it was correct. The next day, my husband went to his post office on the military installation where he lives and works to verify the exact numbers and codes in the address and they confirmed that the original address that he gave to me was correct. He receives mail and packages from the US with no problems, and asked me to try again. I returned to the Shaw Butte station and was told the same thing, again, using the address I was given. The counter man, Charlie, waited on me both times, and insisted that this address is “undeliverable”. I then went to the post office at 59th Avenue and Peoria in Glendale and had no problem sending the package with this address, and their computer system immediately generated a shipping label using the APO AE and zip code for my husband’s location. During my husband’s 2 previous military deployments, I had no issues sending him mail and packages using an APO at the Shaw Butte station. Can you please instruct your employees how to adequately and correctly enter an APO AE address into the post office computer system so that mail can be sent by your customers to family members overseas? I was sending him important documents and information that he needs for his job as a Contracting Officer for the US Government, overseas. I waited on line for at least 20 minutes each time, just to be told the address I was using was invalid, when it was NOT.
