i want to know to why i am not getting my mail on time or not at all i get coupons for 15.00 off cigarettes do not get them my bills do not come i have to put the amount on my credit card plus do not get my grocery sale papers people rely on this stuff this is unacceptable to me linda elite 276 franciscan dr daly city ca 94014

Recently the letter carrier(s) have been inserting our mail only halfway into the mail slot. This not only exposes us to theft of our mail, it also exposes to mail the the rain. During the last couple of rainstorms the mail has been reduced to pulp! The carriers often seem to stuff the mail into the slot by folding it in half and leaving it exposed to the weather and thieves. This crumples up the mail. We are expecting some very important mail from my wife's physician and with the storms that are expected through the coming week we are very concerned that the mail isn't destroyed. Virgil was our carrier for a long time and this never happened--so there is no problem getting the mail properly inserted into the mailbox. I was a temporary carrier during the summer while I was in college. I understand the difficulties carriers face but properly inserting the mail into the letter box is not one of them. My mailman (who delivers to Seacrest Ct, Daly City, has twice now when delivering packages, leaves them at the bottom on my stairs (12) instead of leaving it at my front door! I am disabled so this creates a hardship for me. I thought your policy is to leave packages at the front door! I am not a happy customer! This has never happened in my 50 plus years of living here.
