I witnessed an incident just like this at Signal and Matilija last month (2/2023,) except the truck was going faster than 30 mph. Zipped right through the stop sign. I couldn't believe it!! But then again, a driver in a postal truck backed into my house mailbox and knocked it sideways. The post office would not accept responsibility. So.......????
Apparently their phone doesn't work, nobody answers. My Amazon order somehow was sent to Ojai and apparently the workers thought they deserved it more than I did. Vanished.
Today ( 2/21/2020) the mail was exceptionally late, over four hours. I was expecting a package. I was home all day. At 6:08 pm it said there was a delivery attempt at my front door/driveway but was inaccessible. I live in an apartment complex. Unless there was a crocodile at my front door,‘I’m not sure how it could be inaccessible. I expect it to be delivered tomorrow 2/22, but I imagine the new courier or replacement courier needs a little more training on how to effectively manage their time/job. Thank you.
Been waiting for a pkg since beginning of November. Tracking number and company i bought from say it was delivered on November 18/19. Left at mail boxes instead of my door a few feet away. Its a Christmas gift for my daughter, or was. Im not happy
Incident today (6/22/2017) about 2:30 p.m. at the 4-way arterial stop sign intersection at Blanche and W. Aliso Streets in Ojai:
A postal delivery service vehicle ran through this intersection at a speed that must have been 30 miles an hour without even slowing down. This is an intersection that has a blind corner so anyone approaching from the south on Blanche St. would not have been visible to the postal service driver. He or she is lucky to have flew through this intersection without causing themselves or another motorist or bicyclist great bodily injury.
