Submitted a change of address in person prior to moving but am not getting my mail. Instead it’s being returned to sender. It was near closing time and the employee who “helped” me was impatient and borderline surely. I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t even process my form.
To make matters worse no one answers the phone when I call the post office where I submitted the change of address - it just rings without being able to leave a message.
Also, I just heard on the news that regular mail delivery is going to take 2-3 days longer to get delivered.
Makes you wonder just what our tax dollars are paying for!
This post office is very incompetent. Our community post box has a broken key in it and we have not had any mail delivery for almost 2 weeks. Went to talk to the supervisor at Grantville PO and was told he was too busy. Out going mail has been left in the box through entire time. There excuse is that it takes time. Should only take a day or to to replace the lock. Who will be responsible for late charges or for the cancelation of insurances when the payments are stuck in the outgoing box. FIX IT
Dropped off a package and asked for postage on Aug 3 2021. Was "served" by a young dark haired young woman wearing glasses at about 3:15. She spoke in a very rapid, clipped manner. Difficult to understand. It was very exasperating. I have excellent hearing. Got to practice patience. She was made aware that I was not understanding her well yet she didn't change to help the understanding. Disrespectful. Should be replaced by a machine.
