What's the point of having a phone number if you won't answer it? Very frustrating. 970-264-5440 is the number you have posted on your web page for the local office. This may explain why there are so many jokes about the USPS.

I mailed a letter on June 23, 2022 from your post office. It was a birthday card to my son. He never received the card mailed to him in Cypress, Texas. I have tried to call your post office, and no one answers. What is happening to the mail?

Our mail has been ending up in other people's boxes, and vice versa, here in Loma Linda. This has been going on for months!! The new carrier in terrible!. We just got back from a 3 wk trip, and when we went to p/u our held mail, we found important pieces in our bundle that were our neighbors. (Government check, Bill's, etc) This all leads to people having to file missing mail orders to the USPS. and wastes time and effort on government employees. Please do something about this unprofessional service.

I have been calling our pagosa post office for 3 days and it rings for about 20 times and I get no answer I have been ordering items online and for shipping they don't say if they are shipping ups FedEx or post office so I always put both physical and PO box # I am not really that good at ordering online but I got one of my packages and the sender only put my physical but it was delivered to post office they put a sticker on my package saying needs PO box# from now on any packages coming through without PO box# would be returned no exceptions I don't order very often so I'm sure it's not that hard or doesn't take much time out of their day to look up my box#for delivery and where is the post master she is the one that should be answering phone calls

Our mail is either missing or going to another mailbox. Our neighbors end up with our mail many times. Not OK. So currently our mortgage pymt billing statement has failed for 2 months to reach our mailbox. Please, deliver our mail to us!!! It's a good thing I know when my bills are due!

Alice left me a phone message and I have tried to return her call 12 times, each time the phone rings more than 20 times. No one answers. Alice called to say our mail box is stuffed full and wondered if she should return our mail - if we had moved. We have NOT moved. Please do NOT return our mail. I completed a hold mail card and dropped it at the Post Office in mid-December. Our mail should be held until January 14. We also have a family member who is moving to Pagosa and is using our address until they get located in their new home. Please accept all mail, regardless of name, that comes to our address. We will return!

looks like the major issues have been voiced and never addressed. We are elderly, and one of us is almost (90%) at home. Yet I continually get... notes saying "delivery attempted at 6:45am" yet are mail is not delivered until afternoon. They say they will try again.... but?? Then slip in box saying I must go downtown. This delays my delivery by 3-4 days. Extremely frustrating!!!!

We've been at home the whole day - today - Saturday - April 18, 2020. Just before 12noon - the mail man (it's an old man - not the woman) was at the mail boxes delivery mails. We have an item that needed a signature. He looked at our unit (we're very close to the mail box and we saw him looking at our unit) and our car is right in front of the door close to the mailbox. He was just plain lazy! If a signature is needed, he need to knock on our door and bring the shipment to us. It's less than 1 minute walk to our door. Instead of bringing the parcel to our door, he chose to leave a notice for us to go to the Post Office ... and we're supposed to be at home ... avoiding crowded places!!! So ... can the Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 Post office Administrator, please explain to us .. what on earth is going on? It's not like we're youngsters ... my hubby is a Veteran and we are in our 60s. If this old mail man doesn't want his job ...we're sure that there are jobless people who would want his job!! Please do a re-delivery at our door step, with thanks.

One hours and 48 minutes on hold and never any answer. 970-264-5440 Gave up and tried again and some answering machine saying that the subscriber has traveled out of the coverage area. No way to get a hold of them, called USPS and this is the accurate phone number.

Agree with Alexander Feht. Called Pogosa Springs UPS multiple times and the line was always busy. Sent USPS Priority Package to confirmed address on April 6, 2017 and as of today 0418,2017 5:10 PM that package is in the process of being returned. Here's the info regarding the tracking # "The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. The item is currently in transit to the destination as of April 17, 2017, at 9:43 am." Yes, this message was posted yesterday. Apparently, the package will one day be returned though no one knows when or why. No information has been provided to the recipient served by the Pogosa Springs, CO USPS.

It is impossible to call Pagosa Springs (ZIP: 81147) Post Office using their published phone number (264-5440). This phone is ALWAYS busy. They simply NEVER answer. This Post Office is frequently losing packages and letters. Tracking info shows that there was an "attempt of delivery" but there was no notification. I asked this Post Office employees, three times in person, to locate the package that they "attempted to deliver" accorsing to the tracking information, and all three times they were unable to find it.
