I mailed my passport via certified mail it got to the ward place on Feb 22, but never got to the destination I don’t know where it went to or is it still sitting at this annex . To this day June 28, have no answer from anyone
I mailed my son (a student at GWU) his passport via certified mail (I realize now, my mistake). Took 5 days to travel from Boston to DC. USPS tracking shows it arrived at this DC facility at 8:49 am on thursday, April 28. So far they have had thursday, friday, saturday, monday to deliver it. Nothing yet. That's FOUR DAYS to deliver a piece of CERTIFIED MAIL to an address less than one mile away from this facility. Sad to say, the USPS is broken, has no accountability, and just cannot be relied upon. Avoid using it if you can.
I stopped having packages delivered to my office because there is ALWAYS an issue with this post office. I mean, we had MAJOR issues. Today I was expecting my first package in at least 2 years or so. They got it from UPS yesterday, supposedly tried to deliver it yesterday, marked it as an insufficient address, and returned it to the sender...yesterday. As usual, no one answered when I called. The USPS customer service rep confirmed the address was fine. At least they're consistent.

The mail carrier that came to the building today was VERY "off." He said his name was John. He had half a mask on and no gloves. But most suspiciously he had a horrible cough and was shaking. Again, half the mask was off of his face. I asked him if he was OK and he said that he was "very hot." He needs medical attention. I tried calling the P.O. but as usual could not get through to anyone. Mind you, this gloveless mail carrier coughed while delivering mail and scanning packages (which he left scattered ALL over the place). I can not believe that any Supervisor would allow this person to work. Lastly, there has been an entire crate of mail resident left here in the building going on over 48 hours.
II have been trying to reach this location for 2 days and cannot get through, a very important delivery was to be made and I need to find out where it is.
