This employee at the USPS office located at 1400 L St NW Lobby 2, Washington, DC 20005 needs to be fired immediately! She used vulgar language in front of customers repeatedly and apparently because of the post master will receive no discipline. Why is this ok? I want to make a complaint about the post office in zip code 08701 that is not delivering the mail I send them in Lakewood, NJ. This is about the 10th time this has happened and it is returned to me marked 'UNKNOWN" AT THEIR ADDRESS. It has a return address in Florida and I believe that is the reason they wont deliver it. I mailed an insured packaged priority registered mail on Feb 26 to Laurel, MD (tracking #RE225254939US). It seems to be bouncing from the Washington Distribution Center and the Murrifield, VA Distribution Center but not making it to its ultimate destination in Laurel, Md. I had a package go out in the end of December from Kansas City. It never made it past USPS FACILITY WASHINGTON DC NETWORK DISTRIBUT, 20799. It is now the end of January. I have had to refund buyer and need refund of postage. The USPS tracking is #9449008205498475214928. Where is my item? I also tried to call several times with no answer, once they picked up and I could hear talking in the background and they just left phone off the hook. Very poor service.

I live in TN. And I want to report a problem with our mail person . She has been shoving 7 or more packages in our mailbox which is regular size . I want to send a commend for postal worker Tony Barnett. I'm not sure what post office he works at but he was in the area of 6th st NW when he helped me and my family who were visiting from Florida and Texas. My granddaughter had her car broken into while in the underground parking lot. Mr. Barnett noticed that we were trying to cover the broken window to drive home. He came over and offered a plastic bag and helped us tape it since he mentioned he had done this before. He gave us other information and really made us feel better about the entire experience. We had a great time in DC and this was the last day as we were driving home. As far as we are concerned he went above and beyond to help us and made what could have left a bad taste about DC. He is a wonderful asset for any company he works for. Please tell Mr. Barnett that we appreciate his help and wish him the best New Year.

What is the problem with mail delivery for 306 Evarts Street NE???? We haven’t received mail in Three days. I need to file a complaint

Postal box at 600 Pennsylvania Ave SE is jammed full as well; could not put in a letter today. Used to be 3 mail receptacles now only 1 - and no operating hours listed on the storefront. DeJoy does not want our business - trying to shut down the postal system so Amazon can own these services and charge commercial prices for delivering letters.

Neither the postal boxes at 17th and P NW nor 16th and P Street, NW are able to be used to drop mail in them. The one on 16th and P is totally jamed and the one on 17th and P does not even open at all.

I am in a residential care facility for the disabled. Someone is tampering with our mail removing our personal items and taking packages sent by friends and relatives or ordered online. Please help workers and caregivers say we are incoherent and are making up stories and lying. When people do start listening they over medicate us speechless. We can Not get our mail delivered to the correct address, we are missing mail mainly our bills. Many times the mail never gets too me. it often is delivered too a wrong address two streets over I Know this is true so because we get other peoples mail. Or some times we dont even get our mail, because in this neighborhood is a a lot of people from other countries and that we dont know because they dont speak English. So when they get our mail they just thro-it away.

I mailed 5 boxes from the Hollywood (MD) Post Office on 2 December 2020. 4 boxes arrived to their destination, having gone through the So. MD. Distribution Center. But one box sent to Ohio was put in the wrong bin at the Hollywood Post Office and was sent thru the Washington DC Network Distribution Center. On 3 December it arrived at the Washington DC Network Distribution Center where it has been ever since. I have spoken to the Post Master in Avon Lake, Ohio three times about this box, to the Hollywood, MD Post Master once, and have three case numbers opened on this box with USPS. Yet tracking indicates it still has not moved. The Avon Lake Post Master is very considerate and kind when I speak to him, but can only reassure me that due to COVID and a reduced work force items are backed up but will eventually be delivered. I am concerned the box has been lost, stolen, damaged and no one is informing me of its where abouts. I have entrusted the USPS with presents picked out specifically for each family member and mailed with USPS. But the USPS has failed to fulfill its agreement to deliver those presents. Just a shame.

I mailed two priority packages from the Jessup, MD post office on Dec 15 in the hopes they would arrive for Christmas and was told that they would arrive to their destination in Ga by Dec 19. The tracking says the packages are still at the Washington DC distribution center. This is ridiculous! I understand that items would be delayed but 12 days!!!! And of course I won't be able to get my money back. So, what's the deal and where in the heck are my packages?

On Wednesday night, December 23 at 8:30 pm I went to put mail into the postal drop box at 17th St NW at P St NW in DC. However, it was so full that the "door" hit paper and would not open enough for me to deposit my mail. I didn't want to try to leave my mail there for fear it would not be collected -- obviously mail had not been collected there for some time. Now I am worried that bills I dropped in that mail box on Monday, and even last Thursday, was still in that completely full mail box. This is the second time I have had this experience in the last month. I am asking that someone check the mail box at 17th St NW at P St NW in DC to ensure that mail gets delivered. Thank you.

I mailed a small package in DC on December 14 with a receipt stating it would arrive on December 17. It did not leave the local distribution center in Hyattsville, MD until today, December 23. Shame! I drove from Mitchellville, Maryland to take my letter to the main post office on 900 Brentwood Road N.E., Washington, DC close to closing time on Saturday, September 19, 2020. I requested to have my letter date stamped (postmarked) so I could photograph it with my camera phone for proof that my letter was received by the post office. The customer service associate told me that the post office does not date stamp (postmark) letters unless additional postage is being added; and neither does the post office allow photographing of letters, and I explained that I have never had a problem getting my letters postmarked (date stamped) when I requested it at the post office I normally go to in Largo, Bowie or Mitchellville, Maryland. The customer service associate said, “the post office you go to are doing things wrong; we don’t do that at the post office.” Then I opened up an old picture file of a picture that I took of a previous letter that was date stamped at the post office in Largo, Maryland. The D.C. customer service agent had gave me back my letter and left me standing at this point. I waited for the postal associate to return back to the counter, and I lovingly showed her the picture of the previous letter that the customer service agent at the Largo post office post marked (date stamped) so I could take a picture it for proof it was received at the post office. The main post office customer service agent in D.C. then replied, “I know what you mean, but we don’t do that here.” My question is since when did the postal service stop postmarking letters with a date stamp for their customers and why please? This doesn’t make since to me especially at a time where competition for your business is cut throat out there. Thank you. 🤠

I contacted the Postmaster James F. Cleaver in Decatur Illinois post office on Mound St. several times. Apparaently he is tooo busy to talk to a woman. A disgrace to never take a call as I was told "he is very busy".Hhe is always busy and thats who you have running this post office.Shame on you!

Very disappointed in this Post Office. Nobody answers phones. When I did reach somebody they tried to be helpful (Mickey) yet unable to help me. I am so tired of going to our local P.O. in Lebanon Indiana. 46052; First they do not have a handicap ramp and i have to use a cane and walk up 6 concrete steps and try to carry boxes to ship. It is very dangerous. The doors are so heavy I can hardly open them. Then when you get in the employees act like they are doing you a service by waiting on you. Very unfriendly and not patient. I recently took a package in to mail to my granddaughter and the man did not even put in the right address. It was suppose to go to Westerville , Ohio and he had it going to Cleveland. So I took it back and sent it UPS. This is the only business in this town that does not have a handicap ramp. I saw a lady on a walker trying to get up those steps. She had no one to mail her packages for her . So together we got up those steps and in the door. This P.O. is so small and parking is terrible. The postmaster is no help. He could care less. They are making big salaries and that is all they care for. One woman employee looks like she just got out of bed every day and she waits on the public. No wonder people go to other means to do their mail business. This P.O. needs a handicap ramp.

The USPS located at 15219 Bluebird Street N W, Andover, MN delivered a Priority Mail Express package, signature required to who and where was unknown..... The person who signed for it is named C C and the signature of Recipient is a couple squiggles.... unreadable if it is indeed suppose to be a "real signature" of a "real person". Disappointing that a postal employee could not be trusted to deliver a package to the correct person at the correct address. The package delivery cost is $ 11.75 with an additional charge $3.15 for the addresses signature. Disappointing the USPS hires postal employees that are irresponsible! I expect to receive a refund for services "unrendered" that I paid for!

I've had to complain about my mailman in the past, about 1 1/2 years ago. You can pull up my complaint from then to see the problems I was having with him at that time. Now I'm having problems again. I have a cat that will not come in the house, so I leave dry food in a tub on my front porch for him. When I get home from work , I check my mail. So far, this is the 3rd time my mail has been thrown in that tub. This tub is about 3 ft away from the actual mailbox on my porch so the mail just didn't fall out of the mailbox into that tub. I've also had missing mail that had money in the envelope in the form of a large check from my mortgage company and a visa card with money on it from Discount Tire. Both of these had been mailed out from these business's around the first of April 2019. I didn't even know that a check was being sent to me from my mortgage company. I found out when I got an email from them reminding me to cash that check. Also, I was waiting for the visa card from Discount Tire. It was only supposed to take 2 weeks to get it. I contacted both of these business's and found out these money items were mailed out 2 days apart. I should have received both of them around the middle of April 2019. This is not a coincidence. For the life of me, I don't know what's wrong with this guy. I've never had a problem with any other mailman. Isn't all of this activity a federal offense? This guy needs to be fired and prosecuted . How many complaints does it take to get any kind of resolution for this type of mail tampering? Please do something. There's no telling what he will do next.

Whoever delivers mail in the area of 249 8th street northeast needs to be fired immediately. For months now they have been putting the wrong mail in everyone in my building mailbox. We all have to catch each other every day to give the other person the correct mail. Also I have received for the third time a piece of mail that was ripped open. Yes!! Not accidentally but like someone ripped open my letter then tried to put it back like it wasn’t touched. This is a serious matter because this person is still doing this after all my neighbors left notes in the mailbox tellin the person to do so.

I would like to complain about the mcknight rd post office in pittsburgh pa. I have had to use hold mail services many times and each time i have a very hard time getting the accumulated hold mail delivered. I have been promised delivery which never happens. If hold mail services is too complicated for the people at this location then it should not be offered. It is amazing how the postal service has declined over the years. I assume it is thru poor quality of hiring practices. I know u people will have a good laugh over this. But This is a very real problem at this postal facility!

I am writing to complain about my mail deliveries. I live at 3749 1/2 Kanawha Street, NW, Washington, Dc 20015, in the Chevy Chase section of DC. I have had mail delivered to my home every day which is not mine. I get my neighbors' mail; some of the neighbors live several houses away from me. I ordered a book. The seller sent it properly addressed. It went to Jacksonville Florida from which it should have been forwarded to my address in south Georgia. Instead it was sent to California. While CA and GA are similar, the ZIP CODES ARE VERY DIFFERENT! And there are no towns in California with the same name as my town--it seems to have been sent to a college of that name. Incompetent!!!!

This is my complaint: On Jan. 29, 2018 I mailed 55 letters to 55 U.S. Senators. I spent days writing my letter and my daughter proofed it. I find it hard to belief that as of today Feb. 20, 2018 the letters are not yet delivered. I do understand because of poison being included some years ago that care must be taken to protect our officials, However I can't imagine it takes 22 or 23 days to verify the safety of my 55 letters. I called your telephone number today only to be told that I would be on hold for 1 hour and 50 min. Tried again and the second time I needed to be on hold for 1 hour and 7 or 9 min. I have never been a fan of our do nothing government but I did believe the post office was better than most government agency's. Voice recognition sucks. Hung up after several attempts. Rather embarrassing for management but then again it's the federal government. Local post office doesn't even answer the phone! I think it should be turned over to UPS or FedEX or even Google. If it's sold, make sure that Pelosi's husband gets involved again, so they can gain by another tens of millions of dollars! CJH

I did not get my mail yesterday, the day after the Columbus Day holiday. Neither did at least one of my neighbors. Several weeks ago on a Monday I did not get any mail. The next day I got 34 pieces of mail that were mine, and one letter that was not mine. Why aren't we getting mail some days and mail that is correctly delivered?

I am so sick of sending packages to DC. I just got a confirmation that a package was "undeliverable". Why? My party was waiting for this package all day, and had to sign for it. So mad i was sending a card to my mother with some pictures in it of her grandchildren and my mom gets the card but not the pictures........and no one at post office can say anything.......my mom say the evelope was riped opened and they still delivered it smh i dislike the postal service. Were the caremas at when you need them.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I DO NOT GET MAIL SOMETIMES FOR A WEEK NOT EVEN JUNK MAIL, ALL MY BILLS DO NOT COME ON TIME AND I HAVE HAD ALMOST A DEFAULT ON MY STUDENT LOAN , MY SON ALMOST LOST HIS CAR INSURANCE B/C THE BILL NEVER CAME BUT THE LETTER TELLING HIM THEY NEVER GOT THE PAYMENT DID OMG HOWS THAT FOR A LAUGH, FUNNY HARDLY, WHEN THE POST OFFICE ONLY DELIVERS MAIL WHEN THEY WANT AND TO WHOM THAT IS A FED OFFENSE WHEN SOMEONE TAMPERS W/UR MAIL , I HAVE COMPLAINED NUMEROUS TIMES AND HOPEFULLY SOMETHING WILL FINALLY GET DONE. THE MAIL IS NO ONES BUSINESS BUT THE RECEIPIENT TO WHOM IT IS ADDRESSED MY POST MAN BELIEVES IT COMES WHEN HE WANTS REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT IS DISGUSTING. PRIVATIZE THE PO AND EFFICIENCY WOULD INCREASE B/C THEY KNOW THEY CAN THEN BE FIRED
