The star rating is only for the issues why I'm writing. I see how hard these mail carriers work. They get soaked in the rain and work in terribly hot conditions or freezing temperatures. When they have no mail to deliver to me, instead of seeing if I have any letters for them, they'll go behind my home (it's only 2' wide) and they walk on my plants to do this) only to shave of seconds from their route. I also wish they wern't so forceful when putting my mail in the mailslot. This is the second time the zipties that hold the tray to catch the mail were snapped. Your carriers should respect the property of others.
My wife (Tami) was expecting a package as of 10/6/17. As of 10/17/17, the package had not arrived... even though the tracking history - #9405510201039022788073 indicated it was delivered to our mailbox on the 6th. I called both Clarkston and later Lewiston Post Offices to find out what the problem was. Customer service was helpful by phone at both locations. The Lewiston office took my name and phone # and told me they would look into the issue.
Amazingly, the package that was missing arrived at our front door (delivered by our postal carrier) the afternoon of 10/18/17... 12 days later than the tracking history indicated it had been delivered. The package was crushed when it arrived at our front door. What happened? We would like answers.
