I agree with the review below about rude leadership. The supervisor Angela is uncouth and ignorant. She does not know how to speak to customers. She is rude and I don’t know why she‘s still employed with the post office. I suppose it’s because she made the statement “I’m the supervisor so all complaints are coming back to me anyway”. That was before she yelled into the phone and hung up on me. Something is very wrong with her and she needs help.
This post office has very malicious, mean, and rude employees and managers. They just do whatever it is they want and ignore customer service request. I miss the staff they had 6 years ago.
Worst service of all time. For 1, my mailman doesn't even attempt to deliver my packages regardless if I'm home or not. I had to go pick them up. Second. The ladies that work at the front desk are unprofessional and uncooperative. Simple.
BIPS is so f-ing B.S. every time i have a package they give me a key for the wrong apartment box. Half the time there is not even a package there and I need to go to the post office to pick up my package. FFS i work for a living and cant get to the post office before they close. I am so tired of their crap.
The delivery of mail by Blue Island Post Office staff is the worse I have ever encountered. I have only lived in the area for a little over two years and I cannot wait to move out of this neighborhood. I would never buy property in an area with such a troublesome and careless mail delivery system. The carrier for my block does not care if mail is delivered to the correct mailbox. I wonder how he or she would react if their mail was continuously delivered to the wrong mailbox or not delivered at all.
I am disgusted with this service! Blue Island USPS is the worst mail office in Cook County. Everytime I politely call with concerns of my mail Marie gives the rudest customer service. I have no idea how she is still employed. The mail carriers specifically the males are nonchalant and do not care how your package/mail is placed. I'm writing with the hope that hopefully their management or administration acknowledges this comment and reevaluates the Blue Island USPS facility because I'm obviously not the only consumer that feels this way. Thank You
I called the post office to get information about a package and the lady over the phone had a attitude. Sad to say she was black, maybe middle aged. If you don't like your job....QUIT!!!! Post office workers get paid a handsomely amount of money and it don't make sense for a paying citizen as myself ,to get poor service. Blue island needs to do better.
