I have gotten the Wall Street Journal daily regularly for a couple years. However, lately the Post Office misses about once a week. This week it has now missed three consecutive days. I checked and it has been sent as usual. Tried to call PO and consistently was hung up on before an answer. Neil St Post Office in Champaign Illinois.
You are the worst post office in IL. Every time I mail my daughter or grandkids a card, they either don't get it or one grandkid gets it the other doesn't. For Halloween the money was stolen in both cards. Today, I got a Christmas card from my daughter. All the pictures were missing because the card was open. These are irreplaceable. My friend sent me a birthday card with a gift certificate in it and I received it. That is my proof it is Champaign.
My package was delivered to outside postal mailbox. But the key doesn't fit. So I don't have tracking number or phone # 2 call. 114 E Stebbins Dr Urbana IL 61801 217-904-2339. HELP
We have been out of town and had our mail held...they were supposed to deliver 2 days ago and still have not gotten it. I called and they promised to deliver it today and nothing. It is important we get this mail for checks and bills. No one answers the phone at the post office...I am frustrated and very angry. What can you do????
Package goes to Champaign Distribution Center an drops into a Black Hole. Packages put on a FEDEX airplane and then there is no tracking on what's going on the plane and beyond that?
My order of 100 capsules of Lavazza arrived in the U.S. on April 27. It arrived at the Champaign, IL Distribution Center on May 12, where it is probably still sitting in the back of a hot storage truck on May 20. Amazon announced a new delivery date, but warned that I could ask for a replacement or a refund if it is not delivered by May 25. Why should Lavazza be punished for USPS delays? Louis DeJoy takes the joy out of everything!
I sent a Christmas package to my family, after Christmas to avoid the rush. I sent it from Urbana, IL to Boston, MA, but it stopped in at the distribution center in Champaign. My package contained several expensive electronic devices so I paid for $500 insurance... the package was "lost" and Champaign has no record of where the package was heading next because they said they "were sending packages to different locations than usual and couldn't keep track". I believe that my package was stolen, and it realistically contained about $1200 with of goods. My insurance has been denied, and my request to reimburse the $60 shipping for the package they lost has been denied. THIS OFFICE IS FRAUDULENT!
I ordered Bath & Body Works for christmas presents on Dec 13, the package made it to Champaign USPS on Dec 24. It has literally "disappeared" from there! Almost hundred dollar order...GONE! I think someone did some Christmas shopping at the Post Office! NOT HAPPY!!!
I think they stole a package of mine as well. I am out of town and they won't pick up the phone and won't release the package to a friend of mine even though I signed off on the release. I think they have a thief or two or three in that neil street post office. USPS is a friggin joke right now,

My post office mail is filtered through Champaign. Stimulus check hasn’t arrived. My post office in Fairmount Il says it is because Champaign isn’t getting the mail out. I have no idea where my check, which was mailed May 21 is. What’s going on,
I'm NOT a happy camper with this usps... I've been waiting for a package to deliver since the very beginning of last week and I have yet receive it.. Someone need to something NOW!!!!!
I have ordered several things that have started as a UPS item, but is transferred to the post office for final delivery. Any time a package has gone to the Champaign P.O., it sits there for days before it gets transferred to my local P.O. In Kankakee County. They currently have a package that has been there several days. It was to have been delivered Wednesday. Now it is Saturday and, according to the tracking number, it still sits in Champaign. What is going on? I’d like my package. Do I need to drive to Champaign myself to get what I should have had delivered?
Same trouble here. I think they use Pony express. I had several 3-day "guaranteed" deliveries from ebay sellers and anything that goes through Champaign, requires a minimum of three days just to get out of there. They (Champaign PO) really suck. Illinois is now on my pony express list, along with California and Michigan. I'll pay extra, if need be, to order an item from a different state.

I went in the post office for a passport. Apparently, the photo that I had professionally taken wasn't adequate. My teeth are not allowed to show at all. However, I have what is called a "short upper" lip (most professional female models have this so it is not usually considered a deformity). This means that I have to distort my mouth for my teeth not to show. The postal worker lost patience with me as I was trying to find the right face. The supervisor came out and threatened me by calling the police if I didn't leave, WHEN I WAS ALREADY WALKING OUT THE DOOR. His threat of calling the police on me, when I was walking out the door made me swear at them, which I shouldn't have done. However, the people were horrifically rude, and I was just asking for information. I am now afraid to go to my post office. If I could sue my post office, I would. Since I have to go back for the passport after being threated with arrest for just asking questions. I only wish these workers could be fired, but they can't, so instead I have to worry about them being abusive and threatening to call the police on me when I return my passport information. One should not be afraid of their post office workers. My zip is 61821 in Champaign IL.
Dear Nothappy,
I had a similar experience with a postal employee at the Mattis Avenue facility. It's way beyond my understanding why most postal workers are grumpy, rude, lazy (need I go on?). Seems to me that they should feel lucky to hold a position in the community that offers the opportunity to meet, greet, assist fellow members of the human race. …. and receive monetary compensation for, basically, just being nice.
