I have never had issues with forwarding mail from Il to Az for my winter location. That is until this year! It has been horrible. Twice I signed up. No mail for days. Mail returned to senders as undeliverable.
What is going on?
Wonderful people doing an ungrateful job,
Sure glad I am not on the receiving end from the ungrateful jerks who always seem to be unhappy with anything and everything...
to our postal crew,
Thank you
- Merry Christmas
The Northbrook Postmaster is irresponsible and non- responsive. She has not returned my calls for 6 months. I thought this was the USP SERVICE. She forget the service part of her training.
What's up with 'no mail Mondays'? Tuesday we get double the mail. So, I'm assuming no mail on Mondays is a regular rule, or is it just my mail carrier?
The letter carrier who delivered the mail at 1621 Mission Hills Road around 4:30 pm this afternoon, July 8, 2020, was NOT wearing a mask and he was also shouting, quite literally, into his telephone while sorting mail in our mailroom. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I tried calling the post office, but no one answered and I was disconnected after about 20 rings or more.
I had 2 Priority boxes delivered not to me, but to the wrong address today. Thank GOD I have good neighbors and he brought them to me. This is not the first time. It has happened time and time again. What do I do? Stand at the mail box ever day and point blank ask him what's for me. This makes me sick. I live at 3240 Old Mill rd. Don't your people have pride in their jobs, or they don't give a s..t.
We also have weekly premium forwarding. When carrier (who forwards the weekly mail) is on vacation, the mail is not sent. Prescription medication was delivered to the post office 1/13. I received it 1/28. Other mail, some from December, was not received until 1/27, that should have been received by 1/20. Three bills were also received on 1/27 and were paid after they were due. This problem goes on every year. Where is the management ? Maybe still only working four hours a day (see CNN 2004 ) Northbrook Post Master..
This office won't get any better either as long as the current Postmaster, Narbi Meuli is there. She is a major piece of work. She can either be found standing around with her hands in her pockets yelling at people who so dare as to talk to their co-worker alongside them, or she is out in the parking lot smoking. I know all this because I worked there. As is always the case though, the squeaky wheel gets the oil, so you can do something there by complaining to the district office:

We have had many problems with the Northbrook post office . During the winter months we have premium forwarding which is very expensive. Numerous times we receive other people's mail and more than once mail has been sent out to us the week before it is supposed to be mailed. On other occasions we have not received a weekly mail delivery and I find I need to call every week to make sure our mail gets sent to our Arizona home. When we returned to Chicago for the summer we are constantly receiving other people's mail and worst of all other people receive our mail including bills. I have brought these problems to the attention of Vivian at the post office and I hear the same answers - we have a new carrier- our carrier is in vacation so we have a substitute carrier. Over and over the same excuses. Is it so difficult to get reliable carriers? We are the last delivery on the route so maybe get the worst service because they are anxious to go home. I would appreciate a reply to this complaint. Joan Gaan
