Evansville lost a package I had sent that was to be delivered on Dec 3rd. I had to contact multiple people to TRY to get someone to pay attention to the package, as it had very personal information that no one would want "just anyone" to get. Not ONE person tried to do anything. EVERY SINGLE ONE said "Well, it's lost so I can't do anything". Mid-January no package, my Social Security has been affected by this (yes, they were told this) - and no one cared.
I even shipped this the way the Post Office told me to ship to ensure delivery. NOPE - I can "apply" to have th postage refunded.
What a waste and poor excuse for a "service" United States Postal We-Wont-Actual-Service-Your-Needs was too long, so they shortened it.
I'm a small business owner who ships small packages all over the US. I sent my husband into Lawndale Post office to ship a small tube package for me that was traveling 2 hours away. The guy working the counter said he could not print labels for shipping that that was "your job" to do bc the post office doesn't print shipping labels. No, I'm not joking! My husband had to go to another post office who did actually want to do their job. And you wonder why the post office is going bankrupt! 🙄
Lawndale employees are very nice and helpful with the exception of a female that had longer dark hair and no smile. She was not customer service friendly at all. She answers in as few words as possible and shows you with facial expressions and body language that she is not happy when you ask a question. Seeming so miserable, I don't understand why she wants to continue working in this profession; and why she has to make her customers feel unwelcome, and as if they are stupid for not knowing rates, etc. I will intentially avoid her line from now on.
