If I could have put a 1/4 star that's what I would have chose! Had a package sent from the UK roughly 3 weeks prior to needing it, an important part to a Halloween costume. Item arrived to USPS here 8 days later. Supposedly it was sent to the wrong branch that delivers to my zip code although tracking said it was out for delivery twice and then showed it as forwarded. They had the delivery address right, so all the problems came from our USPS! This is what we have to deal with now in this day and age! The good ole days of being able to count on anyone are long gone! Here I am with NO time to get what I need for my costume because it was drug out from Wed of last week to Tuesday of this week and, all I got was "sorry". LOL what a JOKE!
The last 2 times I've been there right at 8:30. I had to wait 20 minutes for the doors to open the first time. This time I knocked after 20 minutes and still no response. Someone finally came to the window the second time and told us the window would not be open until 9:30. I suspect this isn't your employees fault and they are probably short staffed. Still, if you're not going to open when you clearly show you are supposed to , then you need to change your listed hours. Don't make your patrons wait until it's convenient for you !
..........today 12/10/2021 a CLEARLY ADDRESSED package from a relative was delivered to a neighbors mailbox. Thanks to his honesty he brought it to me. I live at 2809 Waynedale Blvd, Fort Wayne IN 46809. My package was delivered to 2808 mailbox. Does your carrier have a eyesight problem? The package is CLEARLY addressed to 2809 Waynedale Blvd.,Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
I have to say I am very unhappy about the fact that our mail is getting here so late. I understand from what I read somewhere (I believe it was an editorial in the newspaper) that they are pulling employees from our Waynedale location to cover shortages downtown. Here it is 6.30 pm today and we are just now receiving our mail. We use to always have our mail by noon, but now it is always between 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
