I was at the Sellersburg post office today 1/02/2020 although the first person that waited on me was absolutely no help and just tried to brush me off giving me wrong information another employee stepped in whose name was Kathy and took over and was very friendly and helpful. I was renewing a passport and told her this several times when the other employee Kathy stepped in and corrected her she then received the hate stare from the first women who I think really was just irritated because she had to get up out of her chair from the back room to help me.
Three or four times I have mailed 2 Colorado packages today delivery never never gets there in 2 days I use my hard-earned money to send them. This last package was supposed to be delivered on the 19th of December it is now the 21st of December still not there. I get packages from Colorado that have been damaged every time I get them. I would not write this if I was not upset about it. I will no longer use sellersburg Indiana post service for my packages. Sorry to have written this but very upset.
Our household does not always have our mail out
In the mailbox by on side door.
We hardly find the mail in our paper box.
Would like the mail out in the mail box.
The Sellersburg post office is the worst post office in the area. I've lived at other locations serviced by other post offices and this one is the worst! The lazy delivery person never delivers the packages; rather, she always leaves us a ticket that we have to go pick-up (meaning I have to leave work to go get it). She claims it's because our dog (who is very friendly) is outside, but there have been several times when our dog was locked up inside for certain. Additionally, they offer passport services there but you cant get an appointment for a month. Conversely, I stepped outside and called the Charlestown post office and they scheduled an appointment for the very next day.
Sellersburg Post Office needs fixed!
I guess our mail carrier on Saturdays is willing to state things that aren't true rather than accept responsibility for not delivering mail. She posted a safe place was not available to deliver my package. I guess my open garage wasn't safe enough or give it to any of my family. We were all home. She just couldn't find it, in reality..BS.
I wanted to renew my passport but needed an appointment to do so. Two women employees were leaning on the counter when I walked in, told me I needed an appointment to do this. Huh? There wasn't anyone else in there but they were busy holding up the damned counter. Is it any wonder their appointments are as far off as mid April? Why do anything now if I don't have to mentality. When I left they were still holding up the counter and nobody was there but me.
