I just had a package delivered to my mailbox. The package was too large to be placed IN the mailbox itself, so it was placed (balanced) ON TOP of the mailbox, which is a rural mailbox out at the street!! It certainly was an invitation for someone to ride by and steal it, or fall on the ground and possibly be run over by a car. Very disappointed in whomever delivered this today!
I just wanted to give a big thank you to the post office in Lagrange KY. I can't remember the name of the women who called regarding a letter I was worried about but she was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The post office has come under unwarranted attack by some in political power right now. I think you all do a marvelous job and work in sometimes harsh conditions and always deliver the mail. It is very reassuring to know that some things withstand weather, viruses, natural disasters, and all manner of disruption. I appreciate all you do and so do many others.
This is third time I have had to complain about the same problem...I am a senior citizen so maybe that is why no complains are acted on. My mailbox on several occasions packages are stuffed in my box so tightly I have actually ripped the package getting it out. I ask for packages that large to be put on my porch but instead they lay them up against my garage door with no plastic and last week it was raining so hard it leaked thru. Once again today ...on m0nday...so the box was empty to begin with ...a package was stuffed in so tightly it was crazy.

I have received 2 damaged packages in the last 10 days. Our mail carrier has decided that ALL items can fit into our mailbox with a force. I have had to contact the shippers on each occasion to have my items refunded or replaced. I have also reached out to USPS customer care, so I'm hoping this issue is now resolved soon.
We submitted a request to have our home delivery and Mail held at the La Grange branch while we are out of tow. I been receiving notices of delivery failure on a package. After contacting DHL by phone, they said that the package is in possession of USPS tracking number is 9374869903501802749358. Do you have the package? Thank you.
