My mail reeks of cigarette or cigar smoke almost every time it is delivered! Can someone please address this with our mail carrier as I have seen him smoking in his vehicle and I don't believe they are allowed to do that. 3629 Meridian Gardens Drive 40241.
I made a 1 o'clock passport appointment for my son. He is 17 so it was a new passport, (even though I brought his childhood one with me). When I finally received my turn 45 minutes late, I was told I could not process a passport there since I was no longer a Kentucky resident. he also told me that the passport had a shadow. He would not elaborate what he meant, and I could not see a shadow. My son has deep set eyes, and if you looked at his previous passport, it was pretty much the same. This postal worker individual was very rude and dismissive. I explained that I worked in Louisville and he said "prove it" with an attitude. I own my own company and my business cards were in the car. He just dismissed me and told me I was not able to process there. When I return to my car, I searched online to verify his claim that I could not process a passport in a state, in which I no longer live. According to the USPS website, I do NOT have to be a resident of the state in order to process a passport. I had lived 22 years in Louisville and Lyndon was my go to post office before I moved two years ago. I mailed mini packages from that office till today since it is close to my business office. They used to be the kindest staff there – not anymore! I won't be returning and I wish to file a formal complaint against this individual. I do not have his name but he was about 6'2 black man that looked like a linebacker. Customer service is sorely lacking across America but perhaps you can strive to not only be friendlier but accurate.
After filling out a temporary change of address I have received very little mail at new address. Neighbors are checking my home mailbox and getting some mail there. I have not received important tax documents that have been mailed. Lyndon post office impossible to speak with anyone. Have phoned and can’t get through. Would rate them F.
I have not received mail since 12/26/22
The mail person drives through my street and does not deliver.
My flag with mail to be sent has been in my box since the 26th.
Rolling Hills subdivision
No one answers the phone at 502-425-4547
I have not recieved my mail since 11/30/22 it is now 9 days since the last delivery. Emailed the postoffice and recieved a standard form letter back. We are in Plantation subdivision 40242 area code. USPS has 11 months to get ready for December there should be no excuses!
My neighbors and I are NOT receiving our mail on a regular basis! The delivery service is very irregular. When we do get mail, it can be as late as 7:00 p.m. We’ll go for several weeks and everything is fine and boom, then we don’t get mail! It’s extremely frustrating!
Recently our mail hasn’t been showing up, but for some reason our neighbors always get theirs. It started maybe a month or more ago. There are advertisements, bills to pay, and so on. The post office raises it rates apparently and reduces service availability. If there’s a shortage of man power why hasn’t it been addressed? Someone is dropping the ball and the local Post Office isn’t talking! Because I asked.
The post I just added was for the Lagrange Rd. Lyndon Post Office.

I CANNOT GET MY MAIL DELIVERED ON TIME. I RECEIVE MAIL ADDRESSED TO OTHER PEOPLE. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN IMPORTANT MAILING THAT I WAS TOLD WOULD BE AT MY ADDRESS BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2022. IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED. IS IT BECAUSE IT IS A CHARGE CARD? MAIL FROM THE LYNDON KENTUCKY POSTOFFICE HAS GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE, AND I KNOW WHY!
I actually enjoy going to our post office because the employees are always pleasant and efficient regardless of how busy they are.
However, I am sorry to say that I/we are not as happy with the mail carriers. There have been times when I've wondered whether some of them can read because we so often get someone else's mail and several times one neighbor has brought our mail to us that they've received, causing me to wonder how much mail we've not received because it was delivered elsewhere.
I know there are more pressing matters to worry about and I plan to place a note on our mailbox, but the mail lady refuses to walk up our stairs to place our mail in the mailbox. She walks directly in our garden bed stepping on plants we’ve planted. I’ve put barriers up and that hasn’t helped at all.
I had mail displayed on USPS Informed Delivery as to be delivered on Wed. April 8, but has not arrived as of today April 9. Actually, there was apparently no mail delivered to Wemberley Hill Blvd on Wed April 8.
My address is 10508 Wemberley Hill Blvd.
Thank goodness for good neighbors in Springhurst who frequently deliver my mail because the drivers don't bother looking at the address before shoving it into a mailbox. Horrible, horrible delivery service! It seems that someone different delivers it everyday.
Please, where is our mail? We are Shadowtown Toanhomes on N Tazwell Dr one block off Westport Road and one block from Walmart on Chamberlain Lane. Our roads and parking lots have been totally clear since Tuesday pm. Everyone is coming and going except the postal service. We are not rural, we are on a city bus route. We are totally residential on all sides. We are 50 families just in our complex. We are not getting our mail since Tuesdat. Why?
Just wondering when i should expect my mail. Nothing being delivered in 5 days. Mail is sometimes time sensitive any i so often get the other streets mail.
Today the mail delivery driver drove through the edge of my lawn, creating a big muddy rut and throwing mud and grass like she was off roaring. And this was not to get to the mailbox. I GOT NO MAIL TODAY!
We had a regular person delivering mail for years with no problem. Charlie was taken off the route, and it’s been screwed up since. Today was completely unacceptable, and will cost me to have the yard repaired. The driver was an African American female wearing a gray knit cap with a Pom Pom on top.
Ever since I moved to my new place, for some reason I never receive my packages. They can deliver my mail every day. And mark my packages as being out for delivery. They said they don't deliver mail to my particular complex. Is one reason I was told. Another reason is because there isn't a secure location. I work from home and live inside a locked building. ( They dropped packages off at my old apartment right outside the door broad as daylight.) So they can put the mail in the mailbox but not bring the package as well. Then they said they simply don't deliver ANY packages due to covid. ( Ioved during covid they still delivered my packages at my old location) So, I don't have a car, therefore I get things delivered. Well now I have to have some one pick up my packages for me at the post office. Which they argue about every single time. Asking why I can't come on Saturdays. Whichever day of the week it is, I still do not have a car to get there. What do I have to do to get packages delivered along with the mail? I pay for shipping and stuff isn't that the whole point is to get it to the actual address?
My mail has been returned to sender. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone at the post office. How do I verify that I actually live here and need the postal person to leave my mail and not send it back undeliverable
I would greatly appreciate it you would empty the box at 4950 North Healthcare Blvd 40241, mine and my coworkers mail has sat in the box for more than 2 weeks as a temperature check is required to enter the lobby as the Dropbox is still indicated as an open outgoing mail box. Thank you
This location seems to have a problem answering the phone. On One occasion the phone rang for
4-5min and no one answered. Tried multiple times after that and still the same thing. Not the only time this has happened either. 😕🤔
I agree. You can spend the entire day trying to get through to them. I feel like turning them into the Post Master General.

The Lyndon post office is the worst I have ever seen. We have complained multiple times about not having our mail picked up, and it Still continues to happen. We have put in a ticket of concern; and we have called also. When we call No one answers the phone - no matter how many times you let it ring! There is NO customer service with this post office. I am so disappointed.
They need to be held accountable. Hire someone to answer your phone!

Derrick, hands down, is one of my favorite postal workers ever. He takes his time, makes sure mail gets to the correct address, and he takes the time to listen to concerns. He takes his job seriously and I just want to say thank you for that!

I am extreamly frustrated with my mail deliv. I constantly get mail for other people. Recently I got mail for 4 different addresses in my box. (I had to put 6 pieces of mail to 3 different addresses back in my box for them to pick up the next day) Also recently, I have not gotten any mail, when it happened a couple of weeks ago, my husband says he got an email about the hold he had put on our mail which he had not! I called & the mail restarted. It's happening again-- we got no mail on Saturday & so far none today (Monday) I've been trying to call for 2 hrs & keep getting a busy signal. 😜 A private buisness could not stay in buisness with this kind of service!

I'd like to give a shout-out to the postman delivering mail to Barbormeade for a very much appreciated Random Act of Kindness. While walking my dog in the neighborhood recently on a hot summer day, dog and I sat down under a shade tree to rest. The postman was driving by and inquired if we were OK, then offered a bottle of cold water. Dog and I both needed and appreciated the refreshing water & kindness.
For over a year now the postman has been putting the wrong mail in my box. The addresses are the same but the street is not. I've called numerous times, and spoke to him in person. It does get better for awhile, then back to the same. It's frustrating, because I don't know that the other guy is getting my mail and throwing it away. I usually take the mail to the other person. I have been leaving it in my box with the flag raised, but they don't take it.
Well I was waiting for 3 different packages to be shipped to my apartment. I received emails about 2 of the packages (on 2 different days) that they had been delivered. Yet when I checked my porch, there were no packages to be found... One was a book and could've fit into my mailbox. I doubt the other one would've fit into my mailbox. I was home and both days and my apartment is tiny, so I would've heard the knock on the door, unless they barely knocked or left the package without knocking.
I received an email stating that he third package was delivered, and was not delivered until a few days AFTER I received an email saying it was delivered "because my normal mail carrier had been off".
I called several times and was told by one employee if the packages had not shown up, to call him back the following day. When they had not shown up the next day, I called him back only for him to not answer. I called the main phone number to be told he was not there and no one else could help me and to call back the next day. I called back the next day and he had already left for the day. Then Friday I called only to be told that he had be sent to another branch to work for the day and that I would have to wait until Monday to speak to him. When I got upset and told him I refuse to wait and explained what was going on the man told me "he was just the guy answering the phone and he didn't know what to do." He finally connected me to a woman who took my information and would "call me back immediately" but never received a call back.
Finally Monday, I get a hold of "the only guy in the branch that could help me" and I was told that the first 2 packages that never showed up "must have been stolen and I just must have been in the other room when the carried knocked at my door. That I need to call the company I ordered it from to have them reship the package"...
Ultimately I called the company to have them resend the package or refund my money and I was told I had to file a police report and there was nothing they could do....
Long story but everyone I spoke to was rude. No one seemed willing to help or find someone else who could help me.... In the end I felt as if they just blew it off because they didn't know what happened to them.. I was just told "they must have been stolen because the post office doesn't don't have them". Funny how three different packages were not delivered when my "normal mail carrier had been off".
So I hope whoever "stole" my $15 in books and a $30 plush sports bag for a baby, are enjoying them...
Some of the rudest people work at this location. I have tried to call four times to get an appt for my passport, each time I have been put on hold and forgotten about. The last time I tried to call, I called at 4:12pm was put on hold and kept there until after the office closed. I then tried to go in the office to get an appt and was told that I needed to call to make an appt. Needless to say, I will never use this location again. I would rather go out of my way to another location than have to deal with these people again.
The people getting passports always hold up the people mailing letters and packages, THE MAIN INTENT OF THE United State Postal Service; nobody likes the people waiting for passports....

I continue to have a problem with the Lyndon Post Office. I complained about no mail delivery and pick up for over two weeks. I submitted a complaint and received a "canned" response (locally ("Mr Mike") and from the consumer affairs representative (Connie L. Dulworth)). I had to go in to the office and after 40 minutes, it was found out that the Post Office inadvertently "held" my mail. I was handed a stack of mail, without an apology for their error (tax documents were part of what was included). The second incident was a package not being delivered (unable). This included the period that my mail was inappropriately placed "on hold." I was in the Post Office when the package was there and they failed to give it to me (on a Saturday). The following Monday, the package tracker referenced that the package could not be delivered because no one was home. My wife was home all day (carpet being installed). I complained to the USPS Inspector General and did not get confirmation/response.
My mother was a mail carrier here. Her name was Denise Meitzler. She died in a car accident November 12, 2013. She loved her job and mostly everyone she worked with. The joy of her job was one thing, the people she delivered mail to. She looked forward to seeing everyone on her route and even worried about the people who hadn't checked their mailboxes in a couple days. She was loved by many she delivered to....I know this because she would always call me when they gave her "goodies." Even though I don't hear stories anymore, I will always remember the ones she told me. And, I want to say, "Thank you" to all the people who made her feel like she was going a good job....cause if you were lucky enough to have this lady deliver your mail, you know she worked her butt off to make you happy and give the best customer service to you.
I use Lyndon branch and happy with their service. I was surprised when someone answeredcouple of times after the hours and helped me with the information of other branches. Iam sorry to hear about your mom and wish had met her to show my appreciation. We do not pick our mail regularly also. The very first year after moving into this house I stayed outside to give card to our delivery person. I donot know who brings our mail since I work day time butI do appreciate them.

Have tried to get the same problem straightened out and it still continues. A person named Suzanne was very rude, kept putting me on hold without my permission and when she came back to the phone and mentioned it, she said she was waiting on customers. She began to talk over me. I told her if I had known she was waiting on customers at the same time, then I would have understood. This woman should learn to communicate more effectively and solve the customer's problems, not get defensive. I agree with Anna, hard to discipline a Union worker! P.S. Have spoken to the manager, as well, about this same problem. A customer should only have to deal with a problem ONE time.
I am responding to an email that I sent your post office 8 years ago! I am not allowed to write another letter. The problem is today that the carrier left my package outside my apartment building!! How dimwitted can someone be?? Why would the carrier think that was a secure place when anyone could have taken the package. If my neighbor hadn't seen it and brought it inside, the package would have been gone. There have been people who have been stealing packages! I'm sure you know this and would be extra cautious for your employees not to do such a thing! I am livid. Of course, the problems with your post office have been on-going for eight years and they never get straightened out because you will not answer your telephone! I will be calling the toll-free number also, but that Has not helped in the past either. Your prices and pay keep going up, but the quality of your services goes down. The government is the only entity I know who could get away with such poor service! Shame on you!

this branch is the worst branch I have ever experienced in my whole life. Doesn't deliver my mail correctly and when you try to email them to file a complaint, they never respond. Have tried 6 times to get my problem resolved with no solution from them. They don't give a shit because they're just government workers and they dont really care if you get your mail or not!!!!!!!
