Five envelopes of Valentines and one birthday card plus bills to Parrot Cleaners and LGE were mailed 2/5/22 in the mailbox outside of Walgreens near Chenoweth and Brownsboro Rds; NONE were received - they were STOLEN or taken by postal workers??? Nieces and nephews never rec'd cards with $$ in them; mailed bills were never recd either; What the hell is going on with the St. Matthews Post office?? There is a REAL PROBLEM with mailing anything at this particular box. Someone...Mr. Allen Wright...needs to address this security issue of stealing ASAP.

Delivery service and letter carriers are great, especially Kyle and Jack. However, there is nothing online that says the St.Matthews USPS branch is closed for lunch. On Monday, 2/7/22, it was closed when I arrived at 1:50 pm and scheduled to open at 2:00 pm. Exactly what are the hours the branch is closed for lunch? Thank you.

Hello, trying to find out why no mail was delivered in the 200 block of Eline Ave today, 12/20. Also, my neighbor in the 200 block of Fairlawn Rd said their block didn't receive mail either. What's going on? Thanks.

My husband has not been paid for 2+ weeks. My informed delivery email from yesterday said his 2 checks were there to be delivered. We got no mail yesterday!!! We would like to pick up at post office this morning if possible, but I doubt that will happen since we cannot reach anyone and they don't open til 9am. Mail carriers start there routes before 9am. Smdh. This is rediculous. We almost got our car repoed because our mail didn't run yesterday😭😭. Thank god my pay check came in early and I was able to pay it before they came and picked our car up! We need answers asap please!

I cannot tell you how kind and caring our post man, James Baum, is. He went above and beyond to help find a missing family member who wandered away. James notified me and stayed with him until I got there. I am forever grateful. Very gratefully, Eileen Kirchgessner

Where is our mail? We've had no delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our street has some snow but not enough to stop the mail. Please inform us to what the problem is.

I had two packages I ordered from two different companies, both of them had arrived in my zip code and were about to be delivered. As I track my packages later that day, it had said “Returned to Sender” because addressee moved and left no address. I called USPS out of confusion and the guy said the delivery lady had thought we moved and returned them to the sender. There is absolutely no reason she should have thought I moved unless she clearly didn’t walk up to my door to deliver it, I have lived in the same location for over a year and I even have christmas decorations on my door which makes it very obvious someone lives there. My shipping address was all correct, this was all out of my control, it is the delivery person’s responsibility to properly deliver the package to the RIGHT address. It highly frustrates me as my packages are VERY important supplies needed for my business. If I do not get these packages soon, I will have to close my business down until they do arrive, which is not in my best interest as we are going through a pandemic and I need to make income. I ordered both these packages from two seperate companies 13 days ago.. now they sent BOTH of the packages back to the sender & I will probably have to wait another 4-6 days for them to send it back. I’m highly disappointed in the carelessness of the delivery drivers in my zip code 40207. If the address on the shipping label was correct, which they said it was, there should have been absolutely NO problem. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this situation has me very frustrated as it would if it were to happen to anyone else and even more frustrating every person I talk to over the phone hasn’t genuinely cared about my situation or satisfaction, they just try any and everything to get you off the phone.

Postal carrier does not knock or inform us of certified mail, always mixing mail up and always talking personal matters on cell phone even while driving the truck. My mail has been opened multiple times and even my mail is starting to become lost.

I would like to officially commend our carrier, Cathleen (St. Matthews area). She is wonderful and goes above and beyond her duties to help us. We are so grateful to have her on our route. Please make this part of her personnel record. Thank you.

Came to send out a package. Worker in one of Center booths walked into room and called me up to counter. He had his mask dangling from one ear, not covering his nose or mouth, the entire time it took to do the transaction, between 5 and 10 minutes.

Mail delivery is getting terrible. I am not getting letters that have been mailed a month ago. The post office is delivering mail to our address which is not for us. Sometimes a neighbor will come by with mail that is addressed to us and delivered to them. Even our regular mail carrier is making a lot of errors. Sometimes he delivers our mail and goes down street to have to come back and put more mail in our box. One big issue is cell phone use while they are delivering mail and most is just personal conversation.

Greetings ... Our business is in the 40206 zip code. We have an awesome postal carrier. His name is Jim. However, when Jim takes a day off or takes a vacation, our mail service greatly suffers. Frequently we go several days without receiving our mail. We even have an after hours mail drop, but the substitute carrier doesn't use it. I do hope we can receive better service when Jim is out of pocket. Thank You

I would love to get a response or a call back about my missing mail. It has been over a month since I have put in for a forward of address and I have yet to receive my mail. Each time I attempt to call this location I get a busy signal or nothing at all.

Customer Service.....passport department... on 8-14-17 my wife and I were unfairly treated by a woman named Earlka Turpin. We signed in as the signs instructed and waited a very long time while she worked with another family...while we waited a woman signed in after us....eventually Ms Turpin was free and opened the door for the next customer, we got up to go in when she said next, but, she told us she would not see us at this time and she took the woman behind us, we ask her why she passed over us ?> Ms. Turpin said because she was taking the woman behind us, she stated the woman had been there earlier and did not have a license so she told her to go get one and come back. We informed Ms Turpin that we had been there a long while before the woman she was placing in front of us, Ms Turpin refused to see us. We waited for her to finish and thought we would be next, she came out the entrance door locked it and said she was going to get some change, We watched her enter the postal area and start to work with another customer, we waited another 30 minutes. She came in from the rear of her office unlocked the door and said now you are next, before we could get our stuff together she said she was getting a supervisor , locked the door and walked off. Ms. Turpin's behavior toward us was deliberate and unwarranted. We finally met with another woman who apologized to us and took us to see a Mr. Erick Coleman who processed our paperwork and took our money. Mr. Coleman was very professional and apologized for our inconvenience. I have never been treated so badly any where as I was treated by Ms. Turpin.

the mailman named David been mixing everyone mail at my apt complex and putting it in wrong mail boxes. i have lost 5 packages so far i have complained and returned other people mail to the post office yet everyone i have spoken to have done nothing about it. even though the supervisor named Stephanie at the post office know its the mail mans fault for mixing up the mail, they are not willing to reimburse me for my packages. today i saw the mail men and asked if he was the one mixing up people mail instead of apologizing he got mad and repeatedly refused doing it and stated that his father has past away and i should not be questioning him. when i stated that what i was saying was true the mail man got made and started yelling at me and aggressively approaching me it got to a point where i had to call the cops. when i talked to his supervisor Stephanie once again she seem like his behavior was absolutely ok. this is the worst customer service i have received in my life. the post office is a rip off and employees are rude and dangerous to the customers.

You guys seriously DoNOT care for the people you serve. In the few months I've lived here you lost an important letter sent to me for 2 weeks, declined to tell me when you found it, and have left my mailbox open (it opens from the top) with important mail inside before I rainstorm at least 3 separate times. I wish it were possible to have everyone send me things thru ups then I would! You get paid so well yet take your job less serious than a minimum wage employee.
