For the past couple of months no mail delivery on Mondays. If you are understaffed or is the Mail person for this route just lazy.

Stop marking packages as attempted delivery and you don’t attempt to deliver anything- three times I’ve requested my belongings to be delivered to me and no answer on the phone- lazy

Our mailman, on Thirba St., is not friendly or approachable. Unless he's dropping off mail at your house, he will NOT pickup your outgoing mail. For the disabled, this is a big problem as there is no other way to send out mail.

first the mail delivery in this area is very poorly serviced. three days out of the week, mail is not even delivered. Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays. why is this. with the rates of the postal stamps, I dont think the postal employees(carriers) dont deserve this. If our mail is delivered, we dont receive it until 6/6:30pm. why is this? Ruby Merrick hope to hear from someone in command

Service is ridiculously bad. It is now Wednesday evening and I have recieved no mail all week, not even junk mail. I've scheduled a package pickup online for the last three days which hasn't happenned. The pist office needs yo be disolved and it's serviced contracted yo UPS or FedEx, who at least know their business.

My mail has been coming late, sometimes after 6:00 P.M. I was expecting a package on a Tuesday, but I did not get it. The tracking said that it would be delivered by 8:00 P.M., but it wasn't delivered. When I tracked it again, the message said that a notice was left because there was no safe place to leave it. There was no notice, but the package was deliver in my mailbox on Wednesday. Now I am missing two bills. I got a reminder online that the bills were due, but no bills in the mail. I also left mail in the mailbox to be picked up, but it wasn't picked up. Is it possible to get better service?

We have frequently not received mail on Colony Road especially on Fridays. This week it has rolled over to Friday and Saturday. This is not acceptable when someone is waiting on medication or funds to live. Trump's federal hiring freeze does not apply to the Post Office.

We reside on Cynthia Drive in Metairie. Within the past few months we have been receiving mail sometimes after 6PM or even later! If there is not enough staff to cover the designated area then please look into getting more assistance. We have also received mail for others in the neighborhood plus we have not received bills in a timely manner. Last month we did not receive a utility bill that company stated was mailed. Very inconvenient.

Residents on Cynthia Drive still receiving mail for other residents and now it appears that the carrier refuses to close the mail box door. This causes mail to become wet with the rain, unsatisfactory! Also mail still being delivered late, again, unsatisfactory. We are going to move the mail box again to the porch area so he will have to come onto the porch to deliver!!

I know no one from the post office will read these, but they need to do something about the mail carrier on our street. This service is completely unsatisfactory. We have been receiving mail as late as 7-8PM!!! We have seen him delivering then. There is no government mail shift that ends at 8PM or later, I am a former government employee. I also receive medications through the mail, which has been arriving late, last time I found it on my lawn!! This person needs to be disciplined or more. I have written to Steve Scalise but have not heard any response.

I live at 1404 Bullard Avenue, Metairie, LA 70003. Within the last 3-4 months I had a mail slot installed in my front door and recently put a vinyl magnetic flap on the inside to prevent a/c loss. Since then, the mail carrier just jams the mail into the opening of the mail slot, leaving half inside and half outside exposing the entire mail slot opening. It is also ruining the magnetic flap that I just purchase and also had installed. I am requesting this carrier put the mail all the way into the slot. I am sorry if it is inconvient for him to do it the right way. Please respond.
Thanks,
Carol Prudhomme
