When I want the mail carrier to be sure to pick up packages in my mailbox, I put a small note on the package saying "Please take this package today." I had a small box and a small padded package I wanted picked up today, so I attached a visible note to the mailbox.
The mail carrier DID NOT take the 2 small packages. May I ask why not? I'm getting frustrated with this neglect.
I live in Bethesda 20814.
I appreciate your help.
NOT Happy. USPS tracking indicated a Priority Mail package requiring my signature was being delivered today (9/5). This morning I got an update that it was out for delivery for today. Then around 2pm I get an update saying that it would be re-delivered tomorrow, as USPS attempted delivery today but the "business was closed". Absolute BS nonsense. I have been home ALL DAY waiting to sign for this important package. There was NO doorbell ring, NO attempted delivery notice left on my door, and my 2 security cameras show no one (except the dutiful Amazon delivery dude) came to my door. WTF? Thanks a lot for wasting my Labor day. I really appreciate it.
I have had 4 or 5 parcels (merchandise) not delivered while the tracking said it was delivered. The latest said it was picked up by an agent at the post office. I pick up my own mail when it is being held. In the future I will use Amazon for overnight delivery by Amazon trucks.
Concerned all mail not being delivered..
Bank of America and other essential mail not coming.
Also, mail for Alfred Harris to be delivered to 10607 Montrose Ave #204, Bethesda, MD 20814..
My mail was left on the top of 4 stairs entrance instead of walking up to the front door. All the mail got wet and I had to dry it before I could open it.
I have tried to speak with someone to file a complaint related to the damage yesterday to my mail box from your mail truck. No one answers the phone. My zip code is 20817. Robert Steinwurtzel
Joel at the Bethesda Post Office is amazing; helpful, astute, and always dressed to the T. He’s absolutely amazing. Thank you Joel for your continual help x service during this rough time. The postal service drivers we have are always helpful, and curious and ... they really inspire me to be a better person for all they risk to make sure our mail gets from point a to point b. I used to swear by UPS but no more. This team here in Bethesda has made my mind up thru their continual assistance and strength.
Unfortunately, poor consumer insights and poor competitive product innovation / development will likely result with loss of market share and competitive advantage for USPS. They need a completely new product development team who understand big data, and trends (current and future-projected) based on advanced consumer & market intelligence. Good luck
This location is NOT "CLOSED PERMANENTLY" -- it is open for business per the USPS website. See
