I just want to say thank you especially to Brian and the Eastpointe Post Office Staff for going out of their way to resolve the issue I presented them with. Thank you again you guys were always very helpful, friendly and very willing to help.
I have no idea what is going on, but we are most definitely not receiving our mail like we always have. We are STILL waiting for a small size manilla envelope from my parents that was sent to us from Arizona a week BEFORE Christmas!
My husband, who retrieves the mail daily confirms this. And our mail is delivered through a slot right into our house - not in a remote mailbox.
What is going on????
We pay HEAVILY in stamps to try to keep the personal touch of mailing letters. Yet we can't even get our mail delivered correctly.
Please, is there something we can do on our end to change this ridiculous issue?
According to informed delivery I was suppose to get something from Department of Treasury on Thursday along with junk mail.. got everything it said I would get except the department of treasury... 2 days later was suppose to get something from the state of Michigan, department of treasury and consumers energy.. ONLY thing I got again was Consumers... WHY ARE THE IMPORTANT THINGS NOT GETTING DELIVERED??????
I was supposed to get mail two days in a row I had something wait for ever it was supposed to come yesterday Monday if they are open 7 To 5 I should have Been got it
I found out that the East point Michigan post office has been closed down for several days due to no staff I never heard of such a thing in a government office
I have a package that was due to be delivered yesterday when I tracked it through UPS it said it was in transit with my local post office. Today I called Eastpointe post office and was told by the supervisor Nicole that it was never delivered, so I looked at the tracking information online and saw it was sent to the Allen Park post office I called there and was told it was actually sent to the Detroit package distribution center they gave me a number to call and I couldn't get a hold of anyone there. I called the Allen Park post office back and spoke with a supervisor who told me to call back my local (Eastpointe) post office and speak with the delivery supervisor or the postmaster supervisor and have them send a package inquiry email. I called the Eastpointe post office back and asked to speak with a supervisor and spoke with Nicole again, and she had a slight attitude and was very short with me when I asked her if she could send out a package inquiry email she cut me off and said she would do it and was about to hang up the phone and I stopped her and asked her if she needed my information and once again with an attitude in her voice told me she had my information on her screen and was going to do it. For being in customer service she is not friendly, I feel as if she knew she could have sent a package inquiry email for me the first time I talked to her and she didn't want to do it and then when I called again when I was better educated from speaking with the Allen Park supervisor she was irritates that she had to do it. I am not pleased with the way she spoke to me.
Came here to mail two boxes to Florida which were supposed to be arriving dec 28th and here it is the 2nd and one of them still did not get where it was supposed to be doing. I cannot find my tracking number and the guy at the post office i talked to was extremely rude as he informed me there was nothing he could do, which i find to be complete bullshit because they should be able to look up addresses or something in the computer. Never again will i ever go to this post office or use usps to ship anything ever again.
Semi delivery driver on June 8 at 5:15 pm nearly hit three vehicles by changing lanes from right lane to left turn lane without signaling or even looking. This occurred behind the post office on Virginia st at Oak st.
We live in the 24000 block of Lexington. The postal carrier continuously fails to take our outgoing mail. The flag is up so I do not understand where the confusion comes in. Just plain lazy.
I think we have the same delivery lady. She gets in and out of her vehicle every 3 or 4 houses, she skips our end of the street quite regularly. I had a relative who lives across the street and down a few houses and she would receive ads and other mail on the days she skips us, she has no regard for other people’s needs nor does she seem have a solid work ethic.

Why did Eastpointe PO redistrict postal routes? Tim Murphy has been my carrier for over 20 years. The new one is o.k. But not as conscientious as Tim. He always made sure to tuck medication envelopes into the box. This one just left the envelope on the porch!
