So disappointed and astounded as well. Just received a returned "unable to forward" , mailed with 2 forever stamps on case it was a little heavy. The intended recipient friend has lived at this PICKARD address for YEARS and says it was rejected bc it didn't say "Road". Really? I didn't realize there was both a street & road. Sigh. So much for personal local assistance.
I already submitted a hold request on-line in January but my daughter noticed my mailbox is full! Apparently the Mount Pleasant, Michigan post office didn't receive the notice. Soooo, my daughter will continue to pick up mail until February 23rd. After that PLEASE HOLD MAIL FROM FEBRUARY 24th UNTIL MARCH 24, 2020. I've tried multiple times to re submit the request but the very last button to activate the hold doesn't work!
My daughter lives in an apartment in Mt.Pleasant. Recently, her mailbox was damaged and her landlord has not fixed it. My daughter went to the USPS to retrieve her mail while her box was inoperable. The post office claimed that she was lying about her mailbox stating that they have no carriers who have reported issues, and they claimed that they had no mail for her! She has received NO MAIL on 7 days, yet the post office claims they have nothing for her!!!!!
Is the fact that she has had TWO BIRTHDAY packages/cards mailed to her a coincidence? I do not think so! SOMEONE has her mail and I find it VERY VERY ODD and ALARMING that this post office refuses to help her and accused her of lying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS 100% UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a business owner in Mount Pleasant, I probably take mail delivery foregranted. However, when its absent, I notice. It has been more than 2 days since I have seen a mail carrier at my shop.
My Item never arrived on time and I never received any notification or anything. So, just when I checked my ebay account to tell the seller about my item not arriving. I saw the tracking results on it and it said that they left a notice because there was no safe place for delivery and that return slip was generated.
This is ridiculous. They never knocked the door, they never left a notice in my mail box. This is a small package and they delivered several packages in last 7 days to my door. Why this package did not even get mentioned? I do not know what the intention is here. All I know is that this the only post office I have ever seen with only 3 star reviews.
I'm in awe of how the post office gets mail to people through rain, wind, snow, sleet and dark of night...usually. But my patience has run out with delivery of my Time Magazine. I pay for this magazine and expect an issue every week. It seems I miss an issue at least once a month, sometimes every other week. I have called the post office and complained, I have left notes in my mailbox for the carrier, and still my magazine goes missing far too often. I've even called Time to complain. Please, could I just get my Time magazine every week like I supposed to?
Had a wrong address when ordered from Amazon (still a 48858 address though). Went to the post office to try to intercept. Tim was extremely friendly and took my address down. I even apologized knowing this was my error. I accidentally wrote down my current address (not what was on the package I needed) so I returned a couple minutes later. The manager who had me write down that address was still friendly but a bit snarky (yes, I know I needed to check the address next time. Saying it in a tone does nothing but annoy the customer). Overall decent, will update when I either get the package or have to re-order
Rudest set of employees I have ever came across. Let's start with the fact that two packages from best buy (that needed signatures and were clearly in boxes marked 'flat screen tv') were left on my doorstep, in Jan., while snowing, with no one home! No one would talk to me about it, actually I was hung up on twice. Next day I have to go into buy stamps for work and also mail a personal item.. I asked for a pen to write the zip code on my envelope while the lady got all the stamps I needed for work and was told that I would have to go to the end of the line with the pen and write the zip code while waiting (I had already waited 35 minutes). Really don't see why 2sec. to write a zip code while you're already busy grabbing all my other stuff is an issue? Not to mention one person working while 2 others stand there just around the corner talking and the lines 12 deep.... Good job, no wonder people use FedEx and email instead!
Nasty attitude. I called from CA for a simple issue and the young lady slammed the phone on my face. Just few minutes later I got a text regarding the package. SO THEY DID HAVE IT THERE AND LIED TO ME!
3 sooper nice cashiers and 3 that are totally put out when I mail my sales/packages [of which 1 consistently lets me know she cannot wait to quit her job].
