She overstuffed out box instead of dropping it at our house our in the box up front. Right now our box is overstuffed because of stuff I needed from Amazon and instead of dropping it off she stuffed it in our box. And because of the snow storm we didn't get to it til today. And now our lock is block but too much stuff and we can't get our mail. I'M ANGRY I NEEDED THE STUFF I ORDERED. Not the first time. Their was an 800$ computer part for my car she stuffed in there before. It was so important that my son hurt himself to get it out of the small lockbox.
Tracking shows the item was delivered when it was not. This is a business address and porch piracy is not an issue. Would love to know who received the delivery, but no one answers the blasted phone.
Looking for a lost Christmas card mailed from Westland, MI December 20, 2021 to an address in Wixom. The envelope had a Christmas card, a dated yarn ornament and a $50.00 gift card inside and it still hasn't been received. I called the Wixom post office 3 times today with no answer. I would like to find out how to collect the money that has been lost from the $50.0 gift card. I've had trouble with this po before.
I dropped of 3 cards on December 15th in the office. As of January 7th they have not been received. 1 was to Grand Rapids Mi and the other 2 were to go to Florida
I moved into my home over a year ago. I am still getting mail for the previous owners. I have written not at this address and return to sender on each and every piece. I even called the post office in Wixom to let them know that these people are no longer living here and I'm still getting their mail. How do you put a stop to this????
I know I didn’t have my regular carrier today Thursday April 16, 2020. The carrier went way beyond getting me my package today. My home is hard to find if you aren’t familiar with my Park. A special thank you goes to Wixom Post Office for everything everyone is doing at this time. Thanks for caring and getting me my package. Pam Lafferty
the boxes on Indian Trail were replaced due to damage. Someone thought it was a good idea to rotate them 180 deg. and now we have to climb upon on wet grass, mud and snow. Also allot of people check the box from their car, it's no longer possible. I'd really like to see them back the way they've been for as long as I've lived here.
this is redic! each week, i receive mail in my community box that belongs to a neighbor on another street! not once a week- several times a week, several pieces of mail! Not to mention our mail does not arrive until after 7 p.m.!! Seriously? this needs to stop!
I would like to commend Dora CSR at the Wixom Office. She goes a step above helping customers with their mailing needs. I will only use this post office for future mailings. Thank you Dora for helping with a difficult box, I was sending my daughter in Arizona.
Yet another sorry experience at my local post office.....thought I'd try again, since it's closer to my home, and I usually go out of my way as not to deal with the rotten women at the counter. It's amazing they have jobs at all, let alone in customer service. Either their working conditions are poor, or they just wake up nasty everyday, I don't know, but the rude disrespect is punishable. After several decades on plant earth, I know that attitudes run downhill telling me the post master is the same....otherwise they'd be in the soup line. Also, I was publicly scolded this morning for "taking too many priority boxes". I did leave with a handful, as I have a thriving online business, and only the good Lord knows when they would be delivered to my door! Something just must be done. Enough with these snotty miserable women. Many others are standing in line for their jobs and would absolutely be better at it! Wonder if anyone that should care is reading this......hmmmmm.
The Wixom post office is very poorly run and administered. I brought a letter in from my mother in laws doctor requesting that her mail be delivered to her co-op front door. She is 91 years old, in poor health and cannot walk to the bak of mailboxes down at the corner of her complex. After waiting for 10 days, with no evidence of any door delivery, I went to the post office and enquired as to what the hold up was on her mail delivery. I was told that the postmaster "had to OK porch delivery and that he/she would have to investigate." There is absolutely no excuse for a postmaster to drive 3 miles to check out the situation. I have installed a mail box on the front of the co-op. There seems to be a lot of traffic in the post office, especially this time of year. They surely could use seasonal help, but that would certainly cut into any profits.
The Wixom post office has gone downhill steadily for several years. The incompetence and ignorance is astonishing, never mind the "customer service". We now receive mail, if at all, at 11:00 pm! They have one guy deliver packages and someone else mail...two trips to the same house, and they wonder why they don't get things done. Delivery people are too lazy to leave packages on the porch, so they toss them wherever they land. No one picks up the phone, and no one cares. They don't deserve the outrageous prices we pay in the first place! Now, you're lucky to get your packages in one piece, or at all. Many things delivered to the wrong address! Ignorance is bliss I suppose. Time to call the news stations!
So anyone know why in the hell we're not getting mail delivered until anywhere between 7pm and 9pm (yup, came home this past Saturday and mail was just then getting dropped off, 9:06pm)? And people wonder why so many offices closed or are closing. I'm waiting on a package today and I know I won't get it for probably another 4 hours (it's 4:36pm).
Some days not at all. Terrible delivery service for USPS. My paycheck not delivered today as told would be. Didn't get any mail at all. Some days not gill after 7-8 at night. Disgusting to think we pay any federal taxes to support this crap.
Here I sit yet another evening away from my family because our local USPS office has decided to delay delivery until after 5PM for our business. With large packages being shipped through USPS, there is no way for us to receive them unless we wait until 6PM, or later, to greet the USPS delivery personnel. Otherwise we would just continue to receive delivery failure notifications day after day.
We call the Wixom Post office during their retail hours and navigate through the automated teller. When the phone system finally says that it is connecting us to an operator, the line rings several times before it automatically disconnects. If the US Post Office wants to compete with the big guys (UPS & FedEx), they need to do better than this.
Why is our mail delivered so late in the day and some days not at all?
Friday October 14 - there was no mail delivery.
I live in the zip code area of 48374 in Novi.
