Our mail carrier does not close our mailbox. Sometimes they don't even try. I can see the mailbox from my office and have watched them throw mail in and then just drive off. Sometimes I've come home to an open mailbox with packages sitting there for everyone who drives by to see. I live near a busy road, so the chances of theft are high. Beyond that, I saw the mail carrier just blow past my box this morning. I checked my mail notification email for today and I see that I did indeed have mail today. Another complaint I have is that if it is a box that does not fit in the mailbox, they put a tag on it for me to pick it up at the local office. Often, you can reschedule a missed delivery, but they always mark it so that it cannot be redelivered. I've never seen them leave their truck or heard them ring the doorbell for a delivery that doesn't fit in the box. I have tried calling on multiple occasions to report these grievances, but the phone just rings until an automated message says that the answering service is turned off. I've gone in to the office itself to try to talk to the post master, but I'm given a slip of paper to call the phone number that nobody answers. The service is slip shot at best and there is no recourse.

There is always proper etiquette when doing a service or duty. For instance, on the weekends it's not proper etiquette to start the lawn mower up before 8am. Within the last month I have received 2 packages from USPS before 6:30am. Maybe in the past when people did not have so many security devices set up around their property that alerts them to when someone is close to their door you could get away with that. This just isn't the case anymore. Why would carriers be out delivering that early? I am sure customers would rather receive their packages later (8pm-9pm) rather than 6:25-6:30am. This is just horrible etiquette and simply unprofessional. People should not start receiving packages at their door before 8am. It's like getting a call from a telemarketer at 6:30am. Please forward this to the powers at hand so that this practice can be changed. Thanks much, Sleep Deprived

Who gave this rock access to the internet? Yes, people need to start working early to get all you ungrateful troglodytes your pointless packages and you have the audacity to complain you get it too early, while some people have to wait until the end of the day regardless, I hope all your packages come earlier from now on...

Just to let everyone know the correct phone number for the Blaine Post office is 763-784-1208. They have the incorrect number listed on the website and according to the woman I spoke to at the Blaine post office today they are not able to change it, she was very helpful and apologetic. The US Post Office needs to start supporting their branches and get things like this taken care of.

DeJoy is a crook, sabotaging what's left of o.o. so his private companies like xpo trucking can make him big bucks. He should be fired arrested fined and jailed.

Do not bring packages to this location to be mailed out. The employees take home whatever looks good for themselves. They don't scan tracking in for the packages. They don't help you when you come in for help. This is a really terrible post office, and all of them need to be replaced, including the supervisor, who is not interested in trying to improve anything.

I would like to give a shout out to Seyoum at the Blaine Post Office. He is always pleasant, professional and helpful. He has such a calming way about him and this is so necessary (and under appreciated) given the line of work he is in. If people have somewhere to be and don't like to stand in line, they should consider setting aside more time rather than take their frustration out on someone else. I appreciate you Seyoum!

we put our mail on hold for two weeks to have it delivered today, it is now almost 5pm and no mail. Same thing happened last year. After 2 days of no mail last year my husband had to hunt it down.. NOT HAPPY

We are always getting mail for someone else and half the time our mail is missing. And the service is terrible, we dont get our mail most of the time until after 5pm. We live just across the highway from the post office. We are even getting mail for someone that died and I let the post office know and they still send mail for this person. Bad quaility control.

I have never seen such lack of service, I can't believe how long it takes to get mail delivered from your Branch. A document that I need was mailed on Tuesday November 12th from Minneapolis. It is Saturday November 16th and it still has not been delivered. Four days and I still haven't received it,this is unreal! If this where the first time this happened I would not say anything but it happens all the time. Taking Four to Seven days to get mail that is mailed out of Minneapolis is what I call lack of performance on your end. No wonder people use UPS and other services.

You should have driven to Minneapolis and picked it up (if that option was available)! You could have had your documents in twenty minutes instead of 4+ days, just saying!

I have called Phone: 763-784-9218 Blaine Post Office for the last week and do not get a answer. The person assigned for my route ignored the outgoing mail flag two days in a row. After chasing the mail truck down the road I was met with an attitude and a comment of that this individual is "not supposed to get out of the truck".

The mail delivery on our area of Blaine (Able St, Van Buren, Polk, Taylor Sts. north of 117th) either is delivered to the wrong address, late in the evening, or sometime the next few days! It has been markedly worse since the beginning of November. Why is this happening and how can we go about restoring regular mail service?

For approximately three years we've been receiving a neighbor's mail on and off. She has notified the post office multiple times. We've also received the mail for at least a year or more for a daycare that no longer is housed in our building. So, I send it back with the words "please forward to (and then I write their current address)." It's amazing to me that we get that piece of mail back a second time (with my writing on it to please forward).
