for some reason the downtown concord post office has removed the efficient drive-thru mail boxes and installed new boxes that require you to now get out of your car, walk over to the box and place your mail in the box, that's like driving to McDonald's and having to get out of your car to get your food then get back in your car to drive away, so now how do the elders with canes and walkers now mail their mail? I guess the post office expects them to get out of the car now, I surprised the ADA has not had a say in this, what else should we expect from our government,

1/31 How the heck do you deliver mail, with the flag up. You deposit the mail, put the flag down and do not take the mail that was scheduled to out, and get paid?

This is the worst post office ever! I had a package that was to be delivered today. Tracking said that it was out for delivery at 6:30am. The at 1:30pm I check tracking and it says that my package is at the post office for pickup. But it says on tracking that the delivery was attempted at 3:30pm. This is unacceptable because now that it's after 12pm the post office is closed until Tuesday. How can an attempted delivery take place at 3:30pm when it is not even 2pm. Ever since my house has got a new mail carrier this happens all the time with my parcels. I am very upset with this situation. Because to pick up this package from the office says that need an id and the missed delivery note. Well guess what my lazy mail carrier did not leave a missed delivery note because the sorry pos has not attempted the delivery because I've been outside most of the day and have not seen a mail truck stop at my residence. I'm sure I'm not the only person in my area having these issues with this horrible post office.

The mail delivery driver who now delivers to my location will not drop packages off at the office located directly beside the mailboxes at my apartment complex, where all other delivery services drop packages off at and cameras are in use for our protection as well as the delivery services. Our previous driver had no trouble doing so before so I am confused as to why all tenants have all of their packages sent back to the facility.

Looking to connect with the Ops Manager at the Concord station. We have exchanged numbers but I have misplaced his contact information. This is Jacob from Amazon Concord (CLT3).

I live out on poplar tent and I just want to say my mail carrier needs to be fired. I’m to the point where I’m ready to file a lawsuit against the carrier and the post office in general for negatively affecting mine and my fellow neighbors lives bc my carrier doesn’t give two flips about doing her job in an even half you know what manner. I have had MULTIPLE pieces of certified mail be returned to sender bc she not only didn’t try to deliver said mail but also doesn’t bother even leaving a slip letting me know she attempted to deliver said parcels. Now I have a box of very expensive living aquatic animals sitting in a box at the post office over the weekend (and whom will probably be deceased come Monday) because my beyond lazy carrier wanted to say that the package couldn’t be delivered at 7:30am. The post office isn’t even open then and my mail is always delivered between 1pm and 3pm when she decides to actually deliver it. I think a class action lawsuit needs to take place bc this location needs to get out in check. People such as my carrier have no place working as a civil servant, much less trusting someone like that to deliver this community’s mail.

We live on Odell School Rd and have not had any mail delivered in two days! I heard from a rural carrier that they aren't being paid. This is ridiculous! The Concord post office is awful, too many employees that don't do their jobs and a postmaster that doesn't even care.

I have had 3 recent problems with mail delivery. Twice in the last few weeks our mail has been delivered to a neighbor's mail box. We have great neighbors and they let us know that they had our mail. Today, our mail box was left open. We have a magnet on our box so we believe it was SLAMMED SHUT so hard that it popped open. I realize the delivery people are in a hurry but leaving the box open is not acceptable.

I have had 3 recent problems with packages delivered (or missing). The most recent: My package info states the package could not be delivered, but my spouse was outside when the mail was delivered to boxes beside mine. There was no problem! I have a package that show delivery to Concord a week ago, but no delivery. I had a package that the info stated was handed to someone, but it was left in the driveway!! I wish Amazon would not use USPS!

I live in Cobblestone section of Laurel Park. Today Sunday, 12-13, in the afternoon between 4 and 4:30, we were walking and saw two different US Postal vehicles going much much faster than 25 posted. One was the regular white red blue mail vehicle on Kinsley Ave and the other was a different vehicle on Harrison . There are seniors walking, seniors walking dogs and children in neighborhood. Thank you.

LATE Mail delivery! There is no excuse for mail delivery at 9PM at night in our subdivision/area of Concord.. This is ongoing for 2 months and no one seems to have an answer. Besides the late nightly delivery, the mail is never complete--one night a po box of catalogues maybe the next night some 1st class mail, and then---our mail delivered to another address. FIX it USPC!--and then explain this inefficiency. Your customers are upset with your inadequate service!

Our mail has been arriving extremely late recently I mean after dark late! This morning I walk out with my husband leaving for work and discover our mail on the windshield of a guest of our homes vehicle! The vehicle is not sitting in front of the mailbox at all. I currently have 5 pieces of frost covered mail that is now soaking wet!! Please get rid of the lazy drivers!!! I am beyond pissed!

2 packages were left in the middle of my driveway out in the open, no where near my front porch. Anyone could have driven by and taken them.

Don't move out of your house while remodeling or the NW cabarrus carrier will declare your residence vacant. This declaration can cause Big unexpected problems. Legal counsel has advised we can sue carrier and post master, which we are now considering. Home does not appear vacant, because it isn't. She just noticed everything always looked the same...At 1pm, most people are working, minding their own business.

For the last four days now - our postal carrier has NOT closed the mail box door on the mailbox... we see them open up and down the road all of the time - but now - its happening on this part of the street...DOORS are placed on the mailboxes to keep the MAIL from blowing out - or getting wet...……. whatever happened to common sense and good quality CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Mailed out a money order I purchased from the post office 28027, sent certified mail. This money order was lost in transit, so they claim. The post Master stated he would track it down since I had all of my receipts with the allotted tracking number. Three days past no phone call, so I paid a visit to only be told that he wasn't there or he had left for the day. No one truly wanted to help, because I always got an excuse. Phone lines were always busy or you would be put on hold and then disconnected. I had to go online to figure out how to get reimbursed for the money order which isn't an easy task. So, I visited again today and was told again they could not track the money order down. I requested the 6401 form for reimbursement. The head postmaster looked at me with confusion. I showed him the back of the customer receipt with the information for the 6401 form he said I'll be right back. He finally came back and said the cashier will have to help you complete the form it's all online (which I already knew but he didn't?) Who's running our Government post offices, that they didn't even know about the reimbursement form for a money order purchased at their facility? How is it that I entrusted my money and the mailing process thru this facility? I'm new to the area and definitely won't make this mistake again, lesson learned. To my dismay I started speaking with another woman in line and she too has been their victim. Her package had been missing since October and it's December? She stated she is still waiting. I have read and reviewed all the past reviews from other customers, which are not to nice. They all have the same complaint, missing items that never got delivered. Why is it just this facility with tons of negative reviews? This is very unprofessional and disheartening.
