Totally agree with Mr. McBride. I’ve had a run in with this Sunset post office on several occasions. They refuse to deliver packages, even when I receive a text update that package was not delivered, but is on hold at post office. They refuse to go check on packages, but spend time chatting with their local buddies in line. Talk about rude and unprofessional. I’ve had enough and will be contacting customer service to lodge a complaint.
This post office is a joke and disgrace to the surrounding community!
It is beyond my comprehension that as an Amazon Prime member, carriers like FedEx and UPS have no issue in delivering to the front door of our condominium located on Ocean Isle Beach.
However, this post office can't seem to cannot seem to get their lazy behinds out of a vehicle and walk up two flights of stairs to deliver a package!
Then when you make a trip to this post office to pick it up, you are confronted with a rude and unprofessional postal clerk, that states you have an "undeliverable" address, and the package is being returned!
Perhaps this is exactly why the US postal service is floundering so much in its' feeble attempts to garner public support!
Here's a hint!
Provide some decent customer service and deliver!

This is the worst post office! The reason for my feeling this way is because my post office carrier never deliverers my packages of mail to the correct house. After years of expressing my dismay with this carrier she still has her job and continues to miss-delivery my packages and mail. I have lost so much money due to her inability to get this task correct. I can’t get money back because she scans the package at the beginning of her rout and it saws up to the sender that it was correctly delivered! I just had another package mis delivered and I can never get a hold of anyone to fix this situation!
What has happened to the mail delivery in the past year?
Mail has been taking more than a month in some cases to be delivered.
I am the queen of junk mail and have not received one piece of mail this week. Seeing this is around that time of the month that I received utility bills and credit card bills, I am very concerned.
I mailed a payment off on 1/31/21 that checked just went through my bank on 2/25/21. The credit card lender was giving me calls because my account was past due. I still have a couple of checks out there that were mailed at the same time and have notcleared my bank account.
I call the post office and am told COVID slowed every thing down. We should be used to it by now it has been going on for almost a year. Can some one at the post office not work out how to handle this matter by now?. There are lots of people out there that want jobs.
My sister paid for overnight express mail today at noon. It is May 24. It is 11 o'clock at night and this mail is still not even been scanned into the US PS.
This is actually the third time this is happened with this post office we have never once attempted to collect the overnight fee but I am absolutely sick of this post office doing this if they're going to deliver overnight mail in two days they should charge today delivery fee . Also they should tell customers that overnight mail is not possible from this post office. I will be filing a claim with the USPS
