This is the third delivery where I have received a note saying they could not deliver a package stating animal interference and blocked driveway..last time it was because the aAmazon truck because I got their delivery notifications exactly 1 minute prior to USPS saying animal interference....today my husband and I was home in the garage the neighbors dogs are not home much less outside and we hear a beeping of a vehicle horn we walk outside to see the USPS van in our driveway then speed...SPEED out??? We look all around there is no package, check the mailbox and only mail, we walk around the back of the house to look and as we come around the front there's THE USPS VAN again speeding off....but still no package?? But this time find another letter in the mail box saying USPS can not deliver due to animal interference and receptacle full?????? I know the driver seen us....this is getting out of hand and very unprofessional of your drivers NOT to mention them speeding off in a residential neighborhood....I called the 800 number AND the office with no response. How can you just speed off not acknowledging residents outside? I had one letter in my FULL RECEPTACLE!!! WE WAS OUTSIDE YOU DID NOT HAVE TO GET OUT OF YOUR VAN AND DO ANY HARD WORK.... AND THERE ARE KIDS IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD DO NOT SPEED PLEASE....AS FAR AS THE ANIMALS MY NEIGHBOR DOGS WAS NOT fEVEN OUT OR HOME!!!STOP HOLDING MY PACKAGES AND LYING ABOUT WHY THE DELIVERY CAN NOT BE MADE!!! People in my area just don't understand for three or four days a week we can get our mail from 11 Am-1PM the other days it be 4PM-6PM. Why is that. Some has said in my area they have see the mail truck sitting at a house a mile down the road for a point of time.

No mail was picked up or delivered from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Judging by the dampness of the mail it was apparently delivered sometime that night or on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
No mail has been collected or delivered this date, August 1, 2022 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It is still in the box.
we have not had mail picked up or delivered in days. of course when i call it's blamed on 'lack of staff' issues. however, my delivery person is the same; i even saw him yesterday but he hasn't been to my box, again, in days. i could be more sympathetic if the deliverer was coming every other day or even every 2 days but not coming for days is crazy. and my bill collectors are not going to give one little iota that the usps is short-staffed! as usual, regular folks don't stand a chance... we're the birdie being knocked back and forth between the rich and the corporations/government.
I put an envelope with a key and a letter in a mailbox at 500 Garner St with a person’s name on the envelope. There was no stamp, I just needed The envelope to be picked up by the tenant of the address. But I suppose the letter was picked up by the mail carrier and I’m trying to find that envelope. I’ve called all the phone numbers I could locate on line to get help with this and could not get through to speak with anyone. Please help.
Tracking package. Has needed medication. Says being held at post office due to customer request. I’m the only resident I never requested that. I follow package delivery online but do not pick up useless mail daily. Now I have to go to post office and stand in line for them to search for a package that should have been delivered at home. No happywith this at all who is making these decisions. Lazy drivers. Guess the package wouldn’t fit in the box and they didn’t attemp delivery by getting out of their vehicle

Won’t allow mail carriers to work overtime anymore. Apparently some new rule. Absolutely insane. Guess when people call out, you’ll be out of luck! No working over 40 hours!!!!!!!
Our mail delivery people are very friendly and always courteous. However, we have very erratic delivery--some days mail comes by 2:00, sometimes it comes after 7 pm--yesterday, we got NO mail delivery (and it was not a federal holiday). What is going on? Is there a shortage of delivery people?
Oh they just aren’t letting employees work overtime anymore, so if you don’t get your mail, that’s why. They aren’t allowing the people who WANT to work, work

For 2 years this PO is the closest to my home. Quite frankly some of the rudest staff ever. Always long lines. The tall older red headed lady has to be one of the rudest employees I have ever come across in a public job. I’m sure if there was no union she would have been fired years ago. If one is looking for polite staff, look elsewhere.
Carrier can't manage to put the flag down all the way after picking up outgoing mail. Not earth-shattering, but a pet peeve. Driver appears to be preoccupied with singing along with music playing through his earbuds. I've gotten mail at late as 8:00PM occasionally.
I live at 210 Paige Dr Salisbury & I am extremely upset. Our mail person shoved a package in our mailbox and by shoving it in there he opened our packaged. This is against the law and a federal offense I can press charges. This is not the first this happened. Our mail person drives a van and can get down our road easily. Our road has been scraped and is smoother. When you come down Paige Dr and you drive straight make slight right then your first left that is our house. Actually it looks like you were going to drive straight into our house. Our mail person can drive down our road but choose not too. Because of Covid-19 I am a Healthcare worker and I am working 14 hour days 7 days a week and I do not have the time to run in the opposite direction of Statesville or miss time from work with patients who need me to chase down a lazy mail person. Especially one who is he responsible enough and does not have the respect of peoples mail or packages and shove them in their mailbox with them open because our mail person is too lazy. I have been down there several times complaining about this over and over again. I have tried in person speaking with the postmaster to come up with solutions to help our mail person I have not heard anything back from either times that I’ve been up there and we have been living here at this address for seven years. I have filed a complaint at least five times in the seven years we have been here. If something is not done about this I will go higher up and if I have too I will file charges.

Have a registered letter that needs to be signed for. No knocks on the door or calls. Why is that? The mail carrier is not doing their job.

Our mailman does a great job of delivering mail, but we have a nuisance problem. Cigarette butts accumulate near the mailbox over time. I assume the mailman smokes and throws his/her cigarette in the yard when delivering the mail. It is rare that anyone pulls up in this area, so I am assuming the mailman is doing the littering. Please speak with the mailman and, if he/she is responsible, to stop it. We do appreciate the great service we receive, but I picked up cigarette butts this morning that have accumulated for over a month ( there were forty-one).
I had a certified letter from my lawyer being delivered on Wednesday and the carrier knocked once and was gone before I could get to the door, she didn’t leave a notice so I called the post office and they said it had been sent back to the main hub and they had no reason why. Know they have no idea where it is.
Have several packages that are showing delivered at 8:57 this morning. They are not at my garage as indicated on the tracking note, they aren't in the mailbox. They have been delivered to the wrong address or haven't been delivered yet as indicated. In either event, attempting to contact the post office is horrible. I wish merchants would not use the USPS.
It's Sunday August 27 just had a package delivered. Neither the name, street, or street number were the same as ours. Put back in mailbox. The mail person came by stooped at or mailbox and went on without putting anything box. They then returned and put above noted package in obviously wrong box.
A truly terrible experience. I had a HUGE box - 22x22x20 inches - go "missing" and there's been absolutely no effort made to find my package. The last scan happened IN THE VERY SAME POST OFFICE THAT MY PACKAGE WAS MISPLACED IN. And not only that but I have yet another package (headed for the exact same location) that seems to have been delayed interminably.
So after 7 days of seeing my package stalled in the very same post office I originally sent if from and another delayed for absolutely no reason that I can fathom, I finally got fed up and drove to the post office to get answers. I was then promised by the supervisor, Nina that she would speak with the carrier responsible and get some answers for me. The package being as distinctive as it is would stick out in the carrier's memory for sure I thought.
Two days later I've heard absolutely nothing from her except that she hasn't had a chance to speak with him. TWO DAYS and you haven't had a chance to speak with your own employee? Your employee who has obviously done something wrong?
And then just today (4/5/17) she wouldn't even speak with me herself and instead used another employee like her own personal messenger. The incompetence of the staff and especially the supervisor is mind-boggling. Please do yourself a favor, save yourself the stress and the heartache, and listen to the other people who have left reviews here. For absolutely no reason should you use this USPS location if you can help it. It looks like my own packages might not be returned to me and that's hundreds of dollars that I've now lost due to the incompetence of this staff.
Until my situation is resolved I simply cannot recommend this USPS to anyone. Go ahead and buy your stamps and boxes here, but don't trust them to have your interests at heart and definitely don't trust them with your mail.
Said wait time would be 50 minutes to find out price to mail a package international. Cut out Saturday delivery and hire some people. Local post office number always busy.
Needed basic information - what customs forms is appropriate. Tried to phone for hours - line continually busy. Tried all over the USPS site to find info, not available - tried to the the 1-800 # robo systems continued to loop with no option for international forms. If post offices are SO understaffed, and under funded, why not cancel Saturday delivery and use those funds to actually service people. Currently it is appalling.
this bunch is completely incompatent. They have misdirected my mail for 2 months. Seems to be some kind of vendeta.Ive tryed to work with them but now they have costed me money by illegally misdirecting my mail. Firstly they started holding our mail with no notice. rrthen thney started sending it back. So to avoid having to eal with the bozos I opened a box at a different office, and put in a change of adress, which they messed up. STill sending my mail back. So bright an early monday morning im calling my lawyer and starting a law suit. They started this little war, but im gionna win it
Not a good post office. Wouldn't advise having a package shipped there. The workers could care less if you receive it and would lie to covers his/her lack of concern.
