They either lose my mail, tamper with it, or they don’t deliver it. I get emails stating my package is going to be delivered then they say that we don’t know what happened. Mail man comes anywhere from 4pm to 9pm at night. Absolutely absurd! I have lived all over the United States and this is the absolute worst postal service I’ve encountered. Don’t want to do your job I know 20 people that will gladly do your job for you and do it right there first time.

Seriously the worst. They continue to break my monthly books IN HALF to shove them in the mailbox. They refuse to bring packages down the drive & label it animal interference (complete b.s. because I was OUTSIDE for one of them cleaning my car) and now I have been waiting for EIGHT DAYS for my package to be scanned at the sanford office to update my tracking for a PRIORITY MAIL PACKAGE shipped FOURTEEN DAYS AGO. This is absolute BULL.

Worst post office in the country. Packages are tampered with and not delivered, lost. And this is by the US postal employees themselves. Very irresponsible employees. Everyone should report this post office problems and negligence to the General Postmaster of the federal government.

this is the worst post office I have ever seen in my life, I have been waiting on mediation that I take for a serious medical condition for over a week, finally got a tracking number and now it says the package is on hold at customers request , this is not true and I am seriously sick due to not getting the package, I have lived in Sanford since April and have had nothing but issues with the mail since I moved. This is ridiculous and completely uncalled for. I have called for 3 days and yet to get a person to answer the phone. I will be reporting this to the federal government

Hello, I do not work for the post office but I read your comment and just feel the need to offer. If you ever need someone to pick up and bring your medication to you, as long as it is non-narcotic because of legal rules and such, I would be willing to pick up and deliver them to you. I am in sanford so often for my own family that it really wouldn't be any trouble for me at all. My email address should be listed in this reply but just incase it is not is a great email to contact me on and just put Medication pickup in the subject so I don't overlook your email. We all need a village! Hope this message finds you well!

They mark your packages delivered but never deliver it. Seriously what is wrong with you people. Too lazy to come up a driveway and put larger packages that won't fit in mail ox on porch. Useless. Contacting postmaster as if that will do any good.

I was home and they still claimed undeliverable for a package! I WAS HOME! They didn't even attempt to come down the drive like normal, the package should have been small enough to fit in the mailbox with the very soft package they did deliver, and still they claimed it was undeliverable!!!!! Of course, this is on a Saturday and they claim this at 6:11 pm which is too late to get in contact with them! Now I have to wait who knows how long because I work Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm. This is ridiculous and my weekend now is wasted!

New mail carrier since June 2019, have given him all this time to get it right and still, I do not receive my mail. He places it in my neighbors box who then throws it away. I called and was placed on hold for over 5 mins and the lady said it was addressed, I highly doubt it.

We got a message stating that they couldn’t deliver due to an animal. We have no outside animals. 4 business days later no package and no new updates. Called the 1800 number and that was not helpful either.

Worst customer service ever! I live in single ungated home without dogs running amuck. I was to have an important time sensitive package delivered on 10 Nov 2018. This was not accomplished. I checked the status late Saturday had saw the package was undeliverable due to "No access to delivery location". I contacted the Sanford office speaking with both male and female. Each keeping me on hold for 25 minutes plus. I called and back and was instantly placed on hold again, 16 minutes and a hang up. I tried once again and was told I had to speak with other servicr rep. Placed on hold for 8 minutes where I hung up and wrote this. Perhaps USPS needs to hire a veteran that can actually read and is willing to do what is needed. Read the comments below and remove the dead weight. Quality over quanity!!!

absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service skills used in finding yet again, another one of my "delivered" packages that was never delivered. called post office at 9 this morning, no help, went at lunch " we will get in contact with post master" no help, called at 4:30 " we will be in touch ". seems to me like this is an ongoing problem with post masters from previous reviews. problems needs to be addressed and corrected.

every time i mail a letter out and it gets sent back due to insufficient postage, the letter is returned in such a horrid condition! it always looks like 5 or 6 people took turns scraping their feet on the envalope?? i mail out artwork, and im glad i laminate my works because the notes i add in the letters are crumpled up too? im so t i r e d of this and im really not shocked by the other bad reviews here!

Funny I've noticed for the 2nd Saturday in a row, no mail truck domes down our road at all, so I'm curious if y'all work Saturday, how is the mail carrier getting paid when she/he isn't even coming down our street and yes we have multiple houses on our street so I HIGHLY doubt no one got mail 2 Saturdays in a row. Think it's time to get the postal inspector general to look Into billed labor hours when no service is being provided!!! #scam#fraud#nohoursifnomail

Mail carriers(not all of them) don't always come to the door to get signatures so I have to go claim mail at the post office. Then when I went to get a package there I got a package that had been there for 2 weeks that I never knew was there, and the package I actually went to claim which had just been delivered the day before had been returned to the sender!(They have a 15 day hold policy btw). I was pissed!

They are very rude on the phone. They try to rush you off when they notice it’s a problem you’re having with their worker, and they claim they’re delivering packages and no one is around to accept it but the mail carrier is never attempting to deliver the package at all.

I received a small box yesterday April 1 in our mailbox. The box was the exact size of our mailbox. It was shoved in the mailbox and it was bent on the sides to fit in the mailbox. Other maiI was sticking out of the mailbox so the door would not close. I needed help from our neighbors to finally get the box out. Not sure if our mailbox is damaged or not. The contents was not broken but could have been. This type of mail delivery is not acceptable to me. Please look into this issue. We will let you know if our mailbox or stand is damaged in anyway.
