What is going on with recent mail delivery? No mail delivered or at least not picked up. For two days I have had the red flag up on my mailbox and the stamped mail inside has yet to be picked up. Prior to those days, mail was delivered but was addressed to my address and two other addresses on the same street. I delivered the mail to the other residences. Called post office to discuss this matter but no answer after 5 tries. Service is very disappointing. Either deliveries commonly occur at 7:00 PM or later or periodically no deliveries at all. Will someone at least respond via my email address? Thank you.

It would be nice if the local office actually answered the phone and the mail carrier actually came to the door to try to get a signature for mail if required. The customer service around here sucks!

Sorry but your postal carrier never comes to our door unless she sees a car in our driveway. Peek a boo a camera catches her every time. Please tell her to do her job and get off her phone…Hitting my post doesn’t look to good either considering that she is the only one that comes from that direction on our street. And yes “She’s On Candid Camera!” At least when she purchases her pot on her route she never has to leave her truck. One day someone from the postal service should actually follow her and see what she does! Not a bad idea… I see I’m not the only one to complain about the carrier not getting out of the truck. And yes I have dialed the local postal office 35 times one after another just to be hung up on! These people want more money for less service-TYPICAL BIDEN WAY!! The government that always gives!! Why not give us our mail and packages?

Why is my mail now not delivered until nearly 6:pm? Up until recently it always came here between 2:pm and 3:30pm. This change often lets our outgoing mail sit in the box overnight until it is picked up the following night. That is BS. If we want our mail now to go out today it appears we have to drive it to the post office ! What is that and why are we not advised of a change of service? This is unacceptable and I would like to have someone explain to mw what has happened. Thanks

Why is my mail delivery so late anymore? Our mail is now being delivered after 6:30 pm, the last time of day that I check for it, and I do not know why. In most cases, it would not be an issue but recently I had packages left in Mail box overnight. One was an item that could have been harmed by the heat if I had not retrieved early the next morning. The other, more delicate, was medicine that definitely could have had its effectiveness compromised by the heat. So, what is the issue with post office? If it is employee shortages, why not hire contract delivery staff until your staffing issues can be resolved, but please don't continue to put recipients(taxpayers) in jeopardy.

Mail carrier left a sorry I missed you while you were out notice in our locked mailbox located in our apt complex for a certified letter. We were home when this was left in our mailbox. There was no attempt to deliver to us. I have tried calling the post office for over an hour and the phone just keeps ringing and then I get hung up on. What's the deal? Filing a formal complaint. This has happened on more than one occasion.

I got confirmation that a package I ordered on June 8th had been delivered on June 10th, but I did not receive this. The tracking number is: 93612896950909034456303. I called the #800 number to no avail and the phone just rings at the Southport branch. Can someone please check this for me? Thanks in advance.

Tracking #9410811108400761086593, when I tracked this package on June 4th, the info I received is that it would be delivered on the 4th, did not happen, When I looked up tracking on the 5th, it said I was to receive my package on the 5th. I did, but it was to be signed for by me, not the postal carrier. I found my package in the mailbox. When I went back to the tracking page, it said it was delivered and signed for by R. Lewis. I need someone to contact me on (703) 403-2047.

I mailed 148 postcards for my business 24 days ago and not a one has been delivered! They were time sensitive, Mailed to all my neighbors in my homeowners association. Totally frustrated, and there is no recourse! A total embarrassment to have anything with United States in its name performing as a failure! Loss of $650 million in 1st quarter 2021 backs my disdain! They suck!

I just moved down here in December, I have received very little of my forwarded mail, not sure if this is related to this Office or the office at other address. Very frustrating as I am currently awaiting a check from my company because they had not updated address yet.

I received an email saying that my package was delivered this afternoon. My address was correct on the package (Southport), but my package wasn't received at my address & I have no idea where it is. I checked with neighbors and it was received there either. This isn't the first time. Something needs to be done to correct these problems. Others in my neighborhood are also having problems with package delivery. Could someone please resolve these problems.

When we 1st moved here delivery was great. Past year or so, not. My meds. went to another house and got opened. We get mail for those who moved 7 yrs. ago. We got mail for another development, only the house number was similar. Several times outgoing mail was not all removed from our box. It's not complicated read carefully and check to be sure the box is empty.

In the past week I have had 2 small items delivered to my house. The first package was found underneath my mailbox partially ran over. The other package which was a gift from my son was delivered to the wrong address I can only imagine because it never got to me! The postal worker is always in a rush and speeds down our dirt road at a minimum of 45 mph! I will not stop until their job is taken because they evidently do not take this serious job very seriously. You reap what you sow and I'm completely fed up with this. Do your job or find another. Simple!!!

The carriers on Oak Island are in such a hurry my mail is going everywhere but in my box. Medications that are so important are in the next block over. Some of my mail never got here and was returned and my insurance was canceled. SLOW DOWN and read the addresses please. They were on the labels correct but delivered to the wrong houses. Time and time again.

The Southport, NC post office constantly has issues that they will not solve. I’ve been waiting a week for a package and on delivery day, my tracking shows the undeliverable to location which is completely false. When I called the office they informed me that the package was STILL at the post office and they never even brought it out to deliver because they thought it was a business that was closed. How on earth is it okay to not even bring the package out to see and then scan it saying undeliverable when it wasn’t even tried. I am even more dissatisfied because we had to drive all the way to the post office myself to get my package. Not only wasting gas and time but exposing myself and family to the Covid virus. This post office is not ran correctly, even when speaking to another postal employee, they agreed things like this shouldn’t happen. Just extremely pissed off that the office wouldn’t even try to deliver something but would say it couldn’t be delivered. Office is ran by idiots, this isn’t the first issue.
