Postal Locations

I applied at the Post Office back around 2021 or so. I was contacted for an interview, handed an envelope with the J9 paperwork and told to allow two weeks for a response, Two weeks to the day, I received word via e-mail that the position had been 'cancelled", Interestingly, the boyfriend of my cousin's step daughter was hired about or at that very time. I served six years U.S. Army active duty. Two of those were in Iraq. So, does the Post Office honor "Veteran Preference" or is it merely to appear patriotic?

The folks at the Bismarck (Airport Rd) post office were so helpful when the packages I shipped to my sister were about to be returned to me in Florida. My sister had just moved to Bismarck and didn’t realize there was a note of “vacant” on her mailbox out by her newly rented house. Thanks to the USPS tracking I was able to call the post office and talk to two wonderful employees who took down my sister’s phone number and delivered the packages to her the next day. They saved me from spending over $230.00 to resend the packages if they had gotten returned all the way back to me! Thank you so much for your help! Call me “super relieved in Florida”

When I call it asked for my access code. What is that? I cannot get an answer at the Bismarck Postoffice

I have an item from amazon that looks like it was delivered to the Bismarck Post Office on July 5th, and today is the 14th, and I still have not received my purchase. I'd like an explanation as to where my product is located at this point. 1022 N 1st Street, Bismarck.

Missing a small package that was delivered to 608 south 11th Street last week. Trying to figure out what happened to it.

I have had letters to be mailed since Tuesday by my mail Slot and when are they going to be picked up

Well now that it snows all the time we don't get mail. Our postal guy has decided to not deliver if there is a dusting on the sidewalk during the work day and I wasn't there to sweep it for "royalty" (what I now call him do to the high standards) instead when the sidewalk is clean and stayed clean for a full day we get post-it notes on our mail with demands telling us we won't get our mail if the sidewalks are not clear. I thought the slow death of the postal service would put some pep in their steps but NO. This is why people go to online billing.

I would just like to know when I can expect mail delivery to begin in the Bismarck ND area now that the blizzard has been over for a few days. I have 4 packages, all saying Delivery Date Unknown, and several pieces of mail waiting for arrival. I understand the delay for the blizzard but it seems roads are being cleared up quickly and I would just like to know when to expect my mail and packages to start arriving.

I live in Kentucky, originally from N.D., but have been trying to get ahold of someone at the E. Rosser post office for sometime now. I realize people don't want to work....... don't list a phone number if you are not going to answer it AND DON'T ADVERTISE MAIL DELIVERY IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO DELIVER MAIL!

Absolute worst customer service! I have ordered 3 packages that were supposed to be delivered by USPS. 1st one - damaged (was told to contact sender to create report)??? Why, how would they know. 2nd one medicine - to this day have no idea where it is. 3rd one - parts, no clue where it is. Says it's delivered and left by the door. I live in the Country so no one stole it. Tried to call USPS.......What a joke, if they worked as hard at answering the calls as they do creating the illusion that there is a customer service department, they'd probably have happy customers!!! I still can't get ahold of them!!!!! HELP!!!! Call me back!!!

Mail service at Heritage Park subdivision is dismal. Days without delivery. Late delivery.

I called the customer service at 4:54 today to tell them that the mailman forgot to lock the mailbox's and they were all just tipped forward and all the mail is available to anyone. At 8:35 tonight it's still the same. I push them back in place but they're not locked. I thought our mail would be taken care of better than this and they would have sent somebody out to lock them.

This issue complaint for the date of April 12, 2021. Ok MondayApril 12,2021, we had our mail delivered to our front door versus our mailbox. That would have been fine, but it was raining and snowing. Our mail got completely soaked. A box and two envelopes were soaked. I checked our mailbox to see by chance if was full and that would have made the postal person put at our front door. The mailbox only had one flyer in it,so there was no need put our mail at the door. This has never happened before in the 19 years we have lived here. There is no reason for this to happen! We reside at 903 W. Sweet Ave. Our mail is delivered to box #5 directly across the street from our residence. Can someone explain to me why this occurred? Many delivery services, like Amazon, do not allow me to put the 1/2 in my address. My name is clearly written on my mailbox. My packages are always on my neighbors porch. Today, my mail was in my front yard. Luckily it’s not very windy or I never would’ve found it. My address is N 16th street. I don’t know who delivers here but they need to know that putting an envelope on top of a package at the WRONG HOUSE is not delivering mail.

We have been not receiving our mail for over a month this happened last year at this time and we got charged on our bills for being late we have filled out one of those forms we have called and nobody answers we can't talk to anybody where is our mail going if it's not going to Arizona or Bismarck where is our mail going

Wow I am trying to find a very important lost letter. I call the toll free number and all I get is someone trying to sell me "free road side assistance" and a number of other things. When I finally decide not to push any more buttons to be led to another 'Sale" they disconnect me. No one answers the local phone number......on by the way it said the call was going to be recorded for customer quality assurance! What a joke!

There is a cigarette burn in my letter!

I called and got a few busy signals but answered right away. Spoke to Lisa she was very helpful.

Called twice and let phone ring for 20 minutes each time before finally being disconnected with NO ANSWER!!!

Seriously? This is the best postal service can get? The way this place is ran the manager should have their ass fired! Worst delivery service EVER!

Why does everything I order online, keep moving in all other cities/states post offices, but when my items get to Bismarck, they sit for days (even up to a week!) before they start moving again??? I order so many things online. My packages never stay in one place longer than 24 hours. When my item gets to Bismarck, they stay for an average of 5 days. WHY?! KEEP IT MOVING PEOPLE! Bismarck post office is the ONLY place this happens consistently.

I want you to know that we received 3 different addresses’ mail on Friday. I can see that accidents happen when we occasionally get one piece of mail belonging to our neighbor but it is absolutely careless and unacceptable to have incorrect mail for 3 of our neighbors. Our house number is 1830 and in our mailbox on Saturday was mail for house numbers : 1809 1840 1801 How can we be assured that OUR mail is not going to the wrong address? Moved middle of June and filed 'change of address'. Important mail is still going to our old address. Please honor the change of address.

No mail on Wednesday due to cold weather. No mail on Thursday on our block and no reason given. Impossible to find a local postal service number to call and ask why!!😬

I order things online and the Bismarck post office is so so slow compared to other post offices. I have package tracking and the package sits at the Bismarck post office longer then traveling over 4 states, 4 days sitting at the post office! Thats not the only problem, I had a application I was sending in the mail, deadline for it and the mailman didn't pick up my mail I was sending for 2 days! Making it late for the deadline!

Had a package that went to Bismarck ND then to Denver Colorado and back to Bismarck ND what is going on!!! I live in Hettinger ND...

difficulty with delivery service and attempts to contact the post office and speak to a delivery specialist is close to impossible!
