I was just in the Barnegat post office and one of the two women working there DID NOT HAVE A MASK ON! I don’t know her name but she is a blond woman. Masks are required in Federal Buildings. This is no excuse for this behavior!

I was able to reach the Post Master and he very courteously listened to my complaint

There is a large plexi-glass partition dividing you from the postal worker. If you have a mask on, all you need to do is worry about that.

I have not received mail in over a week. And things I ordered for my kids for Christmas a month ago that are coming USPS are being updated fro Amazon as being delivered later and later... seriously what is going on ? I Put Christmas cards to be mailed in the mailbox just to see if they are coming they are still sitting in there with the flag up. I’m only do this to see if a mail Carrier comes. The road in back of me gets their mail every day around noon.

Love, love, love my post office in Barnegat! The employees are always super helpful and friendly. My postal carrier is amazing. I've lived here six years and the service they provide is spectacular!

Our mail delivery has been very sketchy lately. At least twice a week we get mail that should go to one of our neighbors. Sometimes neighbors right next door or right across the street, or even several houses away - or more. Yesterday we got a whole handful of a neighbor’s mail, INCLUDING A PAYCHECK, that should have been delivered a few houses further down the street. This is unacceptable. I mean really, someone’s paycheck?? Now I have to go there and give them their mail. Makes me wonder how often our mail ends up in the wrong box...

I agree , Our mail person has been VERY ERRATIC , matter of fact I'm waiting for very important medications from Optux RX since Dec 4th and STILL have none. I signed up for the photo images of my delivery everyday online, and what the USPS sends me online hardly ever relates into the mail . VERY DISAPPOINTED with these carriers. Bought my home in Pebble Beach section of Barnegat in 2006, have had issues pretty much since we have been here, having neighbors having to bring me my medications that were delivered to their address mistakenly. I having to do the same, put me on the payroll , I'll do a better job than these clowns. Sad sorry clueless carriers here on Beverly Dr for sure ! .

I also live in pebble beach section, I am only getting in state mail .... sometimes. I’m waiting for a very important letter from Florida that was sent out on December 1, 2020 and have yet to receive it. All The Christmas cards I sent out have not been received by anyone I sent them too. And when I call customer service they say that it’s cause of covid. But the street in back of me emerald dr get their mail every day at noon. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Also the mailman broke our mailbox so when I actually do get a piece of junk mail and it’s raining it’s soaked. I find this very disturbing because I have not received my bills for the month of December. I’ve called the post office every day only to get an electronic message saying they are short handed.

Every time I come to this post office, I'm reprimanded by the man who works there. He is totally condescending and rude. I'll be driving across town to the Manahawkin office.

The mail lady TJ, keeps harassing me to get my mail box fixed, when she was the one who broke it. Somebody here said they are low life employees, well I wouldnt say that. They're just miserable and hate what they do. That's why their customer service is so bad

Denise, Terry, Cindy and John have always been helpful and I utilize PO services quite a lot ! Our town has doubled in population, too bad they did not add another window for the many more people using the PO.

I ordered something online and it was sent to my old address, even though the mailing address on that site was my current address. The tracking number told me "package forwarded to receivers address that is on file with the post Barnegat, NJ" . So after 2 days of not recieving it I called this post office. I have never talked to someone ruder in my life. I told him what the tracking number said and simply asked if it was at the post office or something. He started getting attitude and defensive(I wasn't being mean was literally just asking a question) told me "well maybe you should have used the correct address". Normally one bad apple wouldn't bother me, but TWICE I have ordered debit cards from my bank that never came in. Every time I called the bank they said it's always delivered within the 7 business days and they would have to cancel my never delivered card and request another new one. The second time they were behind confused and suggested I send it to a different address with a different post office!

Only been there twice since moving to town and the lady I dealt with both times has already "threatened" me. I ship ecommerce orders and often times I print my labels and prepare my packages at night. She told me she will make a "one time exception" but will not accept any of my shipments, which are all prepaid Priority I may add, in the future. REALLY?!? We'll see about that....

A warm and much appreciated thank you go to the employees at the Barnegat post office. As I was waiting in line to mail my Christmas cards at the last minute as usual I appreciated hearing the clerks say Merry Christmas to everyone as their transaction was complete. This past week while shopping the area large stores I was not once wished a Merry Christmas and when I wished the cashiers and/or clerks a Merry Christmas few replied Merry Christmas and others just looked dumbfounded or afraid to reply. I'm hopeful this isn't the case all over but this was my unfortunate experience. Thank you again and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy and Healthy New Year. Eric Newman.

DO NOT GO TO THIS POST OFFICE! I have a small business in which I ship product once in a while. I send a small package that I told the clerk I wanted shipped the cheapest way. She told me priority mail with insurance was the cheapest for 5.99. I later found out media mail would have cost 2.99. It is very sad you cannot trust what people say. This women should not be serving the public.

I never go to the Barnegat post office. They have either lost or stolen several packages on me and others I am aware of. I had at lease 10 insurance claims of lost packages sent from this place that never reached the main hub. The place is full of druggies and low life employees. NEVER got to this post office. I drive 15 mile to the next post office just to avoid this place. I mail 10 to 20 packages a week.
