Called 17 times to the NJ Ft.Lee Post office to speak to a live person or an operator as instructed in each instance they ask we hold on and in each instance after a 5 minute hold the called disconnected. Hooray for the no-show after the instructions were followed to the T. Now all I’m holding into is my balls.
Fort Lee post office front desk personnel(s) need to be re-trained in customer service. Very unfriendly. Customer do not need to feel unpleasant after visiting the U.S. post office.
Made an appointment to apply for my son's passport. USPS rep refused to take passport photo of my son. Told me she's not allowed to take a passport photo of a minor. How come they didn't state that on the website?? There is no information about what she told me anywhere. I just hope she didn't lie to me for no good reason.

I was just at the Post Office on Anderson Ave. and simply mailing 10 flat parcels which were already stamped with 2 stamps . The woman working there now must be new because I lived in Fort Lee 15 years using same place. 1pm Monday shift. She said I needed one more stamp per parcel which I purchased from here. She insisted I leave the line to place stamps on them? She said “ customers are waiting” ? It took me 39 seconds to add the stamps. She was rude. As a Black men this type of things often happen . The people in line were upset she would even try to treat me this way. “ Rude postal worker
I had 2 orders in the works from QVC. Both arrived at your PO at the same time. One was delivered today to my home - Hampshire House - in Fort Lee. The other was not. According to the tracking info, you sent the 2nd package to Kearny,NJ??? Why? Will I ever get it?

Although I haven't lived here for very long I am sorry to say this is one of the most poorly run post offices in the United States. We have experienced delayed deliveries, and outright lying by postal workers who say, when delivering packages, they knock on the front door. The home office is 4 feet from the front door and the office door is open. It is simply not possible for them to have knocked as someone would have heard it. In addition, I'm not certain why you have a local phone number as it is NEVER answered and in the very rare occasion it is, you are put on hold for as long as 35 minutes. Yet you have the gall to ask to increase the postage rate...seriously? I know the postal service can work well as it has in every other location I've lived in, you need to do something about this!
There is a problem with your delivery service...I am subscribed for delivery of The Jewish Standard that is supposed to be delivered on Fridays.....that never happens...sometimes I get delivery on Saturday, sometimes on Monday and sometimes NEVER. Is there an issue with the fact that it is a Jewish newspaper? or are you over whelmed??
I rely on this newspaper for weekend events in the Jewish community...It is now Monday....let's see what happens.
