Literally 3rd time this has happened. 1st time ok having a bad day. 2nd time just let it slide. 3rd time it's a bit obnoxious and horrible customer service. Granted I got there 2 minutes before closing each time as I RACE after work to try and make it.... I get there at 4:59 NOT ONE SOUL IN LINE ALL AGENTS STANDING AT COUNTERS DOING NOTHING AND before the door even fully swings open they are obnoxiously shouting "we are closed close at 5:00! we are closed! Use self service." Rest assured I'm HAPPY TO USE SELF SERVICE AND NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH CRABBY UNWELCOMING PEOPLE! how do you know I even wanted to use the agents. Chill! The area was not blocked off/gate wasn't even up yet and still wide open! Horrible way to treat patrons and taxpayers who pay your salaries as they simply enter the building gosh forbid you have to stay an extra moment ! PS: even the manager watching this happening and agreeing so no wonder it is their practice!
Car postal service lady was not nice at all. She had black short hair and was very impolite. She threw my package to my door from 5 feet away, and I told her to be more nicer

ALL OF THE MAIL WAS MISDELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESSES ON 3/31 89134 CASTLE BAR DRIVE.. NO SURPRISE THAT NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE 89134 POST OFFICE. NO SURPRISE THAT DELIVERY SERVICE HAS BEEN QUESTIONABLE FOR A WHILE.

My wife and I had made an appointment online for a passport renewal at this office in Summerlin, upon arriving at their passport office, being the last in line behind 3 others. All we needed were photos and a professional to go over the forms we filled out. Then, to pay and mail them. It should have been easy ... we even called the day before to make sure we brought all we needed. The voice on the other end said we were on track. No problem. Ask for Angela. And so we did and, upon arriving, Angela said we don't need her (her attitude about not wanting to work more) and soon her supervisor (a stocky man with a white goatee) showed up and announced, with some bravado, that they don't do renewals at that location. When I politely told him that I made the appointment online some weeks before, where it was said they would assist with renewals, he puffed his chest and rudely said he doesn't know what I saw on my computer, since he wasn't there. Keep in mind there was no one behind us in line. It would have been easy to assist us. But, instead, this macho man decided to take a stand against us, 2 people who did all the right things, even renting a car to go across town to take care of this duty. After also watching how they treated an elderly handicapped lady who asked for assistance to no avail, we soon realized that this was a TOXIC CUSTOMER SERVICE ENVIRONMENT promoted especially by the supervisor we were dealing with... the man with the white goatee. And so, we left that terrible establishment and went to a post office closer to home, at Jones and Flamingo, where though they did not have a passport office, they offered intelligent and polite advice for our endeavor.
I have called this post office for years when I have a problem, not once has the phone ever been answered. It just rings and rings until it's disconnected. I don't understand when there is even a published phone number if it never gets answered.
The 800 number always have more than an hour wait. Overall, really bad service.
I kept calling all morning and no one answered. I actually went to the post office and called from in there to see if someone would answer the phone and all they did it ignore it and at one time lifted the receiver and hanged up. They need to all be fired.
can't get my meds in the package box in my mail box cause the freaking thing is broken. Looks like someone bent the crap out of the key and now the people at the post office won't answer their phone. These guys need to be put in the soup line asap.

Certified original document, College Diploma, damaged by carrier! Carrier did not get signature for CERTIFIED MAIL!!!! Envelope was marked DO NOT BEND in four places! Carrier just folded document in half, did not get signature, and stuffed it into our mailbox. Asked for a supervisor and while waiting OUTSIDE the branch shared our story with a few people waiting in line. Branch manager came out and said if we were not silent he would call the police and have us arrested!
Supervisor came out and said I am sorry about 12 times and walked back inside
Had to jam my mail into the top of the drive up box at 11:30 on 4/27/20. There was also a line well out the door. Their is no effective way to drop off mail.

Continually disappointed. Mailbox burglarized and I cannot receive an answer how to get mine fixed. When I questioned how to get this matter fixed the response was about other mailboxes not fixed yet. Tax dollars in action.....
This branch is a joke. I was told by my Post Master in Virginia to contact this branch to see if they have had delivery problems to an organization I sent a certified/return receipt letter to. Just like everyone else who has commented on this office - NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. What's worse is I called 20 times from a land line and it says the call is being transferred only to start ringing forever and finally it times out and disconnects. I have had to pay for all these wasted calls. No wonder the Post Office is loosing business and sucking wind.
I have attempted to reach someone @ the Summerlin PO three times.Each time you wait 10 minutes then are disconnected.This happened each call.Typical Fed gov.!!!!

I would like to add my name to this ever growing list of customers who are unhappy with their lack of service. My order for mail forwarding was acknowledged by mail as usual, but for the past 2 weeks, nothing has come my way. I've had to get a neighbor check my box and mail me the important stuff. I have tried calling about this for the last week. The calls go unanswered - their phone just rings and finally is disconnected. I'd love to get someone there who is in charge and vent, but they are probably hiding under their desk.
Is there a Post Office in this entire country that is any worse than this one? They refuse to answer the phone....too many complaints I am sure....We never know what time to expect our mail.....God forbid the regular carrier is on vacation.....We get the bottom of the barrel as a replacement.....They are outright liars when they say the average wait in the Post Office is 15 minutes......many times closer to an hour.....No wonder they are losing business....They are a disgrace.....

I had a mail supposed to be delivered today 1/24/2018 to my address at argents hill drive. I came to her to get my mail... She shouted at me and said don't come near her because i have cigarette on my hand. So i walk back and stayed at my garage waiting for her to put my mail in my mail box and what she did was She drove away and didn't deliver my mail. She is not our regular mailman. She is destroying the image of the post office. A very bad customer service. A short lady with long gray hair.
I had a package that was to be delivered and their is postage due. The postman NEVER bothered to ring our bell. All he did was leave a notice in our box. I tried to call the post office and they refuse to answer the phone. This post office has the worse service I have ever seen. Would it hurt the driver to take 2 minutes to ring the bell so we could come to the door.
I had an overnight package that was supposed to be delivered on 12-4-17 (a $57 service). On the morning of 12-4-17 I received a text message saying the package was out for delivery, and would be delivered by 8p. 8p came, then 9, then 10 still no package. So the next morning I called the usps 1-800 number, I Waited on hold for 57 mins before someone finally answered. I was told that “it must’ve gotten too dark for the mailman to deliver the package(?? Mind you, it gets dark around 5-6p this time of year).. so I was told to contact the local post office branch here in Summerlin. I called several times over the course of the day. They never answered! So I finally went to the office, and it was completely empty. The part they made me upset was you could hear the phone ringing in the background and the employees just let it ring while completely ignoring it, this is crazy!! I don’t understand how this is ok. Isn’t this a federal, or state agency? There isn’t someone who oversees this?

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They do not answer their phone at this location so don't waste your time. Issues must be handled in person. I live in a large apartment complex (Willowbrook). We are the last stop on our carriers route. He arrives late and finishes after 6:00 PM. Slips left in our boxes indicating we have a package can't be dealt with until the following day since the leasing office closes at 6:00PM. Apparently the carrier supervisor thinks this is okay. People in private residences get their mail early in the day. People who are at the mercy of the leasing office get theirs after closing. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!
Among three states where I have had a po box, this is the poorest performing post office. I repeatedly experience supervisors who lack candor. Most recently, i had two deliveries and they only gave me one. I had to pickup in the parcel line that is always unreasonably slow because the workers cannot find deliveries. No one was in the normal line, and the inconsistenly opened parcel line was not moving. New customer after new customer moved through the normsl line with no movement in the parcel line. At one point 2 out of 3 postal clerks stood at the counter with no customers and refused to help the parcel line. The supervisor's idea of improved efficiency is poorly verified and lacks peoblem solving. I guess we pay for prople to stand around and lose our mail due to location supervisor direction and approval. The supervisor told me it was her decision.
In the past 20 years, I have never called this post office when the phone line was NOT busy. I do believe they take the phones off the hooks so they will not have to answer. Awful service.
1.0 star rating 10/14/2015 Terrible post office. Someone from this post office picked up all the mail boxes for residents in this area (without notifying anyone), but didn't replace them! Why would they take the old boxes without having new ones to install?? Tried for over an hour to call (line busy) and finally got a prson who said that's just the way they do things. Really??? So I went to the post office to get my mail (3 days worth) and after waiting in line for over 20 minutes, was told the carrier had my mail and I would have to get it when he returns for the day. Why would he be carrying my mail around with no place to deliver it?? She also said it takes up to 3 weeks to replace the mail boxes that were taken down. Why would they take them down if they didn't have any to replace them with?? Very, very bad service.
