Postal Locations

I don't seem to be getting my packages and when i review the tracking no. It states that it was left on the front door/porch. I live in a residential build with 6 units. I was home all day and no one rang my door bell. You can't get into building without ringing the doorbell. And always you find mail on the staircase with a rubber band wrapped around it. Nothing in the box. All on the floor. I went yesterday and spoke to a supervisor Ms. White and complained. And she said she would call me after 5. Today I'm still waiting for that call. I am sending a letter to the post master general to report it. I am also going to gather my neighbors signatures as a protest how our mail is handled. We are all fed up. Something has to be done. Also when i call that office the phone number is discontinued.

it would be nice if they would answer the phone. I called the 800 # and was told to call the PO directly to complain but they don't answer. My carrier doesn't put the mail into the mailbox but leaves the mail in the bucket on the floor or in the alley between the building leading to the apt in the back. My address is 1109 36th ave apt 1R.

I am a Senior Citizen residing at 3516 29 St. Astoria, NY 11106. Today I noticed that our regular Mailman did not come yesterday and today when I saw a substitute mailman in my area. Hence I got alarmed that I did not receive any mail yesterday and I was very annoyed I observed that substitute mailman left all my mail hanging outside of door of my walkin apt. from where anyone passing by could take all my mail. Substitute mailman did not even bother to read a very clear message posted on my walkin apt. window that ALL MAIL SHOULD BE PUT THRU. MY 1ST FLR. APT. MAIL SLOT. I have photos of my mail hanging out and of message posted on window in my cell phone which I will send to you. I request Postal officials that substitute mailmen must be briefed not to be so careless in performing their duties. Thank you
