This Post Office in my experience is non-responsive by phone, which is unfortunate because sometimes packagesi in this area are getting marked as delivered when there isn't even a mail carrier anywhere to be seen - and then no package is ever delivered. I can appreciate that when there is so much mail human error occurs, but I do not appreciate the complete lack of accountability in the branch's response.

I send mail to my Nephew at 110 Green Street at least 4 times a year and every time it's returned with different reasons and I send it again and it's received. There is no difference in the address on the second mailing. What's with it. I'm now sending the mail to his Grandmother to give to him. I m tired of spending twice the cost to mail .
My business is located at 254 Huron Street in Greenpoint. We are the only Tennant in the building. The mail carrier (today March 1st) routinely rings the buzzer to the building and then drops the mail ousting on the floor. When the mail carrier waits the 5 seconds it takes for the buzzer to be buzzed, the mail carrier will throw the mail into our building. This has been a new thing (last few months). Not sure what the issue is, and why this particular carrier feels it is ok to leave out mail outside on the ground or throw it into our building. Remarkably unprofessional and horrible service. We appreciate the pandemic issues, however we do not feel w should continue to be treated in this manner. Thank you.

Here is a number that reaches the "supervisor's" desk. Not that talking to a supervisor will help you at 11222. In my experience (20years!) the supervisor's at 11222 ensure that you will leave the conversation with the understanding that they don't care one bit about you or your mail. Seriously folks.

Absolutely horrible service! I have been going here for so many years and everything has gone downhill. The tellers take forever to do anything and the line is always out the door. Cannot get a hold of anyone over the phone because the line is always busy. Any packages that are delivered to our business address are left at the post office because they do not want to ring our bell. They just leave a card and then we have to wait an hour or more just to pick up a package because of the lines. This location needs to have more tellers!!!! The place is also an absolute mess. No one cleans there at all. There are forms and papers laying around everywhere on the floor and all over the tables. What is our taxpayer money paying for? This location has never been as bad as it is now.
One of our packages was delivered on 11/12...but not to us...where did it go? It was from Amazon....this type of non-delivery keeps happening!!!!! Something must be done by this post office!!!!!!

who can be contacted regarding mail delivery. the greenpoint post office will not allow you to speak to a manager,they just say they will pass the message along. Trying to contact them is impossible, they just do not pick up the phone, I have tried several times and found that if I hold on long enough the call is just cut off.
A few weeks ago we went for a week without any delivery - I am in a commercial building with several other businesses and they all have the same problem. Today is the 20th of June - no delivery on Sat., no delivery on Monday, and it is now Tuesday at 1:oo pm and no delivery today. HOW CAN WE GET THIS LACK OF SERVICE CORRECTED!!!
