Man that answers the phone for post master refuses to out her on and keeps me on hold for over 20 minutes. Ridiculous how unprofessional the PM shift. Horrible customer service. He has a different name every time I call. It’s the same person
Oh you havent heard the best..I have lived in the 1500 block of S Chicago Street for 20 plus years .Since our one carrier has not been here we have had a different carrier every day since november..we never know when were getting our mail there was a tuesday night we didnt get our mail till after 6 pm.and now it still hasnt changed.Even had carriers not show up till after 4 or 5 pm.Its crazy ...had a neighbor lady seen her chase down the carrier down the block she come back and said he told her he had to be punch out by 3 pm what kind of carrier not finish delivering mail and of course that same day we never got our mail..Freeport Postal service is awful.its getting worse instead of better and yes i have gone to the post office and see only one window open and theres 20 people standing in line and we watch the others just walk by and not help .If this delivery of mail doesnt start delivering in a timely matter as when our other post man delivered we all will go higher up.it be nice to get back to our delivery of mail by 1:30 in the afternoon.Its even where we have mail on our box and they walk right passed or they dont deliver at all.FREEPORT POST OFFICE GET IT IN GEAR
By far the worst service. First they lost my package and made me go in circles the supervisor there said she would call me, never got a call. Now today I was suppose to get another package and they claim they left a note on door which I never got cause I spoke to the mail lady today when she dropped off the mail and she said she didn't have my package. Something has got to be done cause freeport post office is just a joke and its unfair for those who live here.
I went to the post office at 930am today. There were 14 people on line and the three windows in use. Many people had packages and the line was going nowhere. I jumped in my car and drove to Merrick Post Office. No line and the clerk leaning on her elbow. Why can't adjustments be made. Why do the people in Freeport have to put up with this. We have many immigrants who mail packages home constantly. We obviously use the Post Office more than some of our neighbors.We have a need for more clerks. Why can't we have them. There are two windows not being used. This is not fair to the people in Freeport who deserve the same level of care and service as the ones in Merrick.
Went there to pick up certified mail on behalf of my roommate. They told me I need an authorization letter and a copy of his photo ID. Fair enough, so I went to the library and printed out the documents my roommate emailed me. Took them to the post office and was told by a different rep that the post office will not release under any circumstances. Wtf? Why did you tell me otherwise and waste my time???
They have awful service,I usually stay away. I had bought stuff online and missed the mailman.…when I went to the post office,there was a long line. I waited 30min in line ,when the clerk went to get my package,she took awhile and finally came back and asked for my # because she could not find my package. I told her if I was going to get my package later and she said no until the next day,and they haven't even call me back!!!
