I’ve lived around the world. Glens Falls post office provides the worst postal service I have ever known. Consistently mail goes missing, delivered to another address. Different mail delivery person every week. Try calling the office to speak to post master Andy Skumin phone just rings and rings no one ever answers. If I need counter service I go out of my way and drive to Hudson Falls post office, because the line is so long and slow at Glens Falls post office.

I was home waiting for a package from Germany and it came. I went downstairs where my mailboxes are and there’s no people in that room just 50 mailboxes and me and left a message that they couldn’t deliver because nobody could sign for it usually someone from the post office signs for me or they bring it upstairs to my apartment now nobody will answer at the post office because apparently on Saturday they closed at one. I’m having a nervous break down they have a fur coat that it’s not here and I was here. I didn’t go anywhere I’m waiting for. I wanna get back to me th

Is it policy to leave mail on the ground by the mailbox if it won’t fit in box? 2120 Ridge Road Queensbury NY 12804. This has happened twice. Once on the ground and once on the snow bank.

Disgusted with this office. I have had issues since we’ve moved here. Between our mailman not scanning our pickups, to not picking up to attempting to deliver certified mail without knocking and just leaving a “sorry we missed you” notice. Apparently they don’t go to your door just leave it. No one is wearing a mask inside anyways..

I called the Glens Falls Post office on Monday, December 13th to see if I could get assistance on changing an apt # on a box for my relative who I had sent a pkg. I called and spoke to a gentleman and I don't know his name, but he was very nice, took my tracking number and said he would let the letter carrier know to change the apt # from 2 to apt#3. I realize you get so many packages and I thought this was going to be a long shot. To my surprise, my niece did end up getting the package. I cannot even express enough thank you's to the gentleman who assisted me. Please know I am very impressed with your customer service and how willing they were to help me. Thank you again! Awesome staff! Joyce K

We've gotten a new mail person. We live in a 5 until apartment building with all mailboxes labeled with everyone's name and Apt #. We have a separate porch with our own mailbox which means the others are labeled 2, 3, 4 and 5 we are 1. We haven't gotten our mail in over a week. The other Tennant's have received our mail. Last month I had 2 new credit card statements that I didn't get until past the due dates so I was responsible for 2 $40 late payments. This needs to be fixed!

I’ll tell you .... since I’ve lived up here in Glens Falls for the last 10 years .... this post office has gotten worse and worse by the day !!! Now this branch doesn’t even want to answer the phone for their customers that they are supposed to be serving . It’s ridiculous !!! I also want to know why is it that usps.com gives you an option of leaving your package at the post office so that we can pick our package up at our convenience throughout the day ..... and you guys still don’t listen to directions .... you just throw the package on the truck ... and out for delivery it goes . Three times in the last month or two .... Glens falls post office has done this to me and screwed me on my work hours because now i have to stay at home and wait for my package because I’ve heard about all these porch thieves going around trying to steal packages off the porches . Believe me ... it happens .... my friend had it done to her last summer . Glens Falls Post office has got to start getting their act straightened .

This branch is awful. They do not answer their phones and do not help find missing packages. Sad it’s places like this that make people want to defund and close the usps. They need employees who actually care about their local community. Screw this place.

The personal service at the Glens Falls post office on Hudson Street is superior to any post office I’ve ever been to. The men and women are always helpful and efficient and work perfectly & quickly to keep the lines short .

I am very angry with this branch! I received a phone call and message from an employee there to straighten out my missing mail situation -- I've moved from Glens Falls to Virginia. I attempted to phone back (during business hours) and the phone just kept ringing with no message saying that they were otherwise engaged/occupied. I phoned the next day and spoke with a Ryan (the man who called before had a day off) who was very rude, continually cut me off without listening to me or my difficulties and even tried to imply that their negligence and mishandling of my mail was somehow my fault! I'm going to get this straightened out once and for all, then those jerks can go to hell!!

this post office is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. they are the rudest people as well. I had a package rerouted from Latham to Glens falls by way Of New Jersey and Maryland and they expected me to pay the routing charges!!!! then were rude to me when I questioned their process! Horrible how FedEx trusts them to deliver packages...no wonder they are suffering financially.

Why 2015 I'v had 3 packages reroute back and forth to same post office sorting faculties resuming in late destinations? One package went to CA. When it was sappose to be mail all East coast arriving to family member 7 weeks later. Sent East coast to East coast residance. Tracking these other two items seems they don't have it together.

Prime example of why the USPS is in a financial shambles. Truly a sad state of affairs
