I believe the comments are NOT read by employees. I received a well packaged item from Amazon that was covered with a plastic wrap but it was obvious what was in the package which may have been why the package people "Drop kicked it" or "threw it off the semi- trailer. The box was not only crushed but after opening it the "Hot Pot" had a huge dent in the side that probably could not have come from dropping it. It had to be kicked. The workers who handle packages know they can get away with mistreating parcels. No one is ever supervising them. They, like everything else they do are always in a rush. I ought to know as I used to work in a general mail facility. It took many days to get a return label from Amazon as I received it as a gift. I was unable to get a return label on my own. Amazon sent a replacement via UPS or Fedex. By now Amazon has experience with anything of value that they send by the Post Office. This was not an isolated incident. I sent a movie projector from overseas by the only available carrier and when I opened it you could hear the glass projection bulb rattle in pieces and the case was bent. Then at the same time I sent a Twin Lens Reflex Camera by Yashica or Mamiya and it was well packaged and had a customs tag on it but it never arrrived. All I could get for it was the $33 I paid for it brand new. Anyone sending anything of value should not send it by the post office unless you do not care if the recipient receives it broken from deliberate rough handling.
I receive a notification each day of what mail is coming to me that day.
Yesterday’s notification showed 2 pieces of mail that were not delivered. I tried calling my local post office and it rang about 15 times and then I received a fast busy signal. Called back and no answer again after 10 rings. This happens often if I have to call them.I am calling Clifton park ny .518 371 5600. I just want my mail delivered.don’t know what the problem is.
I submitted a change of address for myself to be effective 05/04/21 however a check on my mail box in Halfmoon I have mail in my name that should have been forwarded to me. Why is this happening? Please fix this matter. Nancy Ryan and it should include Charles (Chuck) Ryan old address 430 Route 146 Lot H41, Halfmoon NY. 12065. New address is P O Box 266 Schroon Lake NY. 12870. I have sent in a new mail forwarding form this date to include Charles Ryan. Thank you.
You people get an F. I ordered stamps online, of course paid for them and as of this date12/19/2020, I still have not received them. Forget tracking they say in transit. No one ever answers the phone. I can’t get a refund . Not to mention I haven’t gotten my mail in 3 days. You people deserve to go bankrupt.

My package was tracked as "delivered" to some random PO box no one knows about and is now missing. (Interestingly is states VOORHEESVILLE here but when calling them they said it is in Clifton Park)
Calling this office (Clifton Park) was not possible, as no one ever picked up. I tried 4 times and got told by a machine that the office is open and I am being transferred to an operator. After varying amounts of rings, the call ended in a busy tone every time.
This is terrible service and I need my package back.
