Went to the PO today at 12PM was informed to come back after 1PM because the clerk would be back. I can’t understand this young lady sitting at the desk and can’t help anyone except look for packages.
I'm Harlem born and raised. Trust me, this Post Office has not been worth going to since the 1970's.
A Crackhouse or a Whorehouse would be better than these unprofessional people at College Station!
THIS POST OFFICE IS THE WORST OF THE WORST,THEY ARE STEALING LEFT AND RIGHT,THOSE EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FROM OUTSIDE AGENTS AND PROSECUTE THEM.
I have now had my post box closed on two occasions even though I initially showed that I paid for a year. I honestly believe that the second time it was done in spite. This location really needs to be investigated and completely new employees should be used to staff it. I have not received court documents (caused me to miss a hearing), my W-2's, a manuscript from a client (book), gift card from an establishment I frequent, a check from the DMV, as well as unknown missing mail. The employees seem to lack any type of understanding, customer service, or ability to think. I get the feeling that they purposely speak to customers with disdain, disgust, and dismissive attitude! People's lives are wrapped up in those packages and letters. being a postal worker is a very important job, because beyond the internet or cellphones it is the most important form of communication that exist. Bills, court dates, confidential items, money, etc.... and to have those individuals consistently treat patrons as if their livelihood is unimportant is a slap in the face. Also, that plexiglass seems to embolden them to say things like, "its not my problem, or I don't know what to tell you!"
Do they understand that when a senior citizen is waiting for there monthly check those words are very disrespectful and callous. Or when a court date is missed and someone ends up with a judgment against them which causes them drastic economic consequences. When a client misses a deadline for a book and money is lost, yet they peer through the glass with discontent, so they treat the powerless on the other side of the window, how they feel. This very location has been getting reviewed horribly for the last 3-4 years and there has been no change. The young lady that works at 9 am every saturday does not need to work there, she is rude, disrespectful and a liar.
Please investigate this post office 217 WEST 140TH STREET NEW YORK NY 10030 because these workers are getting paid for work that they are not doing... I have not been receiving my mail in my mailbox in months and I am sick of it... PLEASE SEND A WHITE PERSON TO TAKE CHARGE OF THAT POST OFFICE LOCATED AT 217 WEST 140TH STREET NEW YORK NY 10030 THEY NEED HELP NOW... I've lived in the area over 25 years and was very disappointed when I did not receive my package.
I checked the macy's website and the package was delivered on Thursday June 22, 2017 at 11:30 am however my husband and I were at work.
I would hate to believe that the United States Post Office has un-trust worthy employees.
