I would like to give an appreciation to Ms. Doreatha Doran for assisting in regards to retrieving my mail which was scheduled to be on hold for two weeks until Saturday, March 4, 2023. My mail is located at the Triborough New Post Office, which is where I went to pick it up but it had not been delivered there yet. I was getting agitated and Ms. Doran came in at the right moment and asked me if she could help me. To my relief, she directed me to what I needed to do to obtain my mail. I was able to pick up my mail on the following Monday, March 6, 2023. I am very grateful to Ms. Doran and wish her all the best.
The mail woman came to my building at 1919 Madison Ave. today, 3/10/2021 12:30 pm.
I went down to get my mail with apt keys in my hand. While she had the mail box doors open I asked to take out my mail. She said that I would have to wait until all of the boxes were filled.I waited. When she, went to close the doors of the boxes, I asked to take out my aid, she said I needed an ID. So I said I will run to get it from my apt. She said I have to go.
I ran up to my apt, retreived my ID and returned to the lobby and she was gone.
The doorman said, "she could have told you that she needed an ID when you first came down. She was rude to you." I couldn't agree more. She is not a courteous postal worker and some one needs to talk to her.
