This post office staff who answers the phone is unprofessional & rude as hell. You call to ask questions and she's always Nasty. Post office need to retrain their staff.
I'm confused , I mailed a large envelope from Great Kills with signature required on the morning of March 17th . It was out for delivery at around 9:00 the morning of the 18th to a address only a few doors down from the post office on Bay st. And they didn't attempt delivery till after 6:30 pm. There's no one going to be at Social services at that hour .. Why is a signature required item not delivered during business hours .? And it's so close to the post office 45 Bay st. To 215 Bay st. Should be easy .
I received I missed you slip
So i scan the bar code to have it redelivered. Needless to say it did not come. So I called to ask where is my package and explained that I did a redelivery and scan the bar Code. I was told I’m supposed to call the 1-800 not scan the barcode in which is a prompt to set up.?i can’t imagine USPS would create a form in which is given out daily for it not to be in use. The woman was very unprofessional in her demeanor.
Poor delivery and customer service on 7/2 in zip code 10301 455 Jersey Street. People were at the location to receive the package. Rude unprofessional service when I called 45 Bay to possibly go out of my way to meet the driver.
I totally dislike this post office. There is one particular worker I don't know his name but he is the big fat black guy. Sorry for the description but I don't know his name nor do I care to know it (I'm black too by the way) He plays too much & he is also sarcastic. I went to pick up a package I gave him my slip & my license he tells me the address doesn't match. I said it's obvious but the names match & the picture on my license match my face. He brought me my package and he told me to get my address changed on my license. I said I'm not so he said well I hope you get your package next time. I SURE WILL NEXT TIME I'LL HAVE IT REDELIVERED IF I'M NOT AT HOME!! I HATE THAT POST OFFICE & HIM ESPECIALLY....
I want to thank the gentleman who answered the phone on 2/18/2016 regarding a lost package for 31 Silver lake Road, SI 10301. Because of his dedication in researching the delivery details I found it. Also want to thank the mail carrier who put it in a safe place for us. They are both to be commended.
