Why can't I get anyone on the phone- need to know how much to make a check out for to renew my PO Box in February while I am out of town. I have had this problem for 11 years- every single year.
I am missing a Ebay package sent to me the value of which cost $70.00. The macedonia/northfield post office reports it delivered, WHICH IS UNTRUE! Now I am without any options and out the money. I am infuriated with usps service!
I live in Macedonia and just contacted the Northfield Post Office because we have been receiving our mail at 7pm every night for awhile now. The only explanation I received was that the main plant has been sending the mail to the local offices late and they in turn are sending the mail out late. I explained to the lady I spoke to that I am concerned that people have to go out in the dark when the driveway might be slippery to get their mail and could fall and injure themselves or worse. Some people have medication sent to them through the mail and don't want to leave it in the mailbox all night. I asked if there was a phone number that I could call at the main office to find out why they are sending the mail to the local post offices so late. The lady at the Northfield post office said she didn't have one and hung up on me. I'm sure that I'm not the only person wondering about this and we do have a right to know why we are getting our mail so late.
If you want any kind of assistance or customer service or your mail for that matter, DON'T GO TO NORTHFIELD POST OFFICE!!! I both live and work in Macedonia and the problems are daily... Employees at the Northfield branch are the most unhappy & rude group of people I've ever come across. Everyone there should be fired! Government dollars at work...
The mail clerk who works mornings at the Northfield branch is rude, he is totally unwilling to help or answer any questions. I’m glad there are alternatives to going to the post office hopefully he will be out of work soon!
Send your packages elsewhere! They are rude and do not wish to cooperate with you at all! I am appalled with this kind of behavior. They don't care about your packages.
The people that answer the phones are Terrible!!
They have no manners and have no interest in doing their jobs. Instead of speaking like an adult they want to talk in ghetto terms and then proceed to ask you how they should do their jobs... I say fire them all they are trash anyway and just have an automated phone system it would do a way better job then the ghetto trash they have answering the phones. They better have a real manager ready to get the wrath of me when I come in!!!
