I was home when I was supposed to have certified mail that was to be delivered on March 27th. The postal worker didn’t knock or anything just put a slip in my mail box saying I wasn’t home. I caught them as they were walking away. I asked if I could get my certified mail and they completely ignored me.

For the past several decades, the Republican Party has been trying to kill the US Post Office. They cut its funding, remove necessary equipment, and in general do everything they can to make it impossible for the Post Office to do its job well. So the next time the PO drives you crazy, remember to VOTE DEMOCRATIC.

Just mailed 2 packages at the Springfield OH Downtown Office, the total for the 2 packages was $25.45. Checking my Bank card Account, I noticed you have charged me twice for the same amount. Attempted to contact Springfield office to no avail. Please have the amount adjusted!

We had a death in the family. My 86 year old Mother is executor. She can not come inside and stand in a long line to have my aunts mail forwarded to her address. What documents do you need, do we need to make an appointment?? it is very frustrating that all day long no-one can answer the phone!

We moved from our previous address in August and did change of address cards. Mail is still going to out old address as of today 1/11/2021. How can this be fixed? not sure why the mail carrier keeps delivering mail to empty hours and why email is not being stamped with new address.

Female black mailer deliver pulled pepper spray on my dog ON MY PROPERTY. My dog is harmless and has never hurt a single thing. You’re lucky you didn’t use that on my dog on my property, it WOULD NOT have been pretty. I would have showed you how REAL pepper spray feels not that garbage you have. Porchmonkey

That's awful of you. They don't know your dog is harmless, do you know how many dogs try to attack them each day? Instead of writing your anger on a message board try calling the post office directly to report your issue, or their federal office, this route solves nothing and you've done it simply to release your anger. I hope you make better decisions on how to carry yourself in the future for the sake of those you come in contact with in your life.

Springfield Post Office is the worst post office in the US. I have lived from the east coast to othe west coast and this is the wrost place ever. They never answer the phone and there is never a postmaster around. The lines are always long with one or two employees. It seems nothing is ever done about the complaints they receive. I always supported the post office when they talked about closing them and cutting their hours. But not anymore, there must be a better way.

Terrible service. My mail was delivered, but my packages were marked as unable to access address. I have a parcel locker right next to my mailbox. So that's a straight up lie. Not that I'm surprised. My mailman doesn't even wear a uniform. I was also told my packages would be delivered on the next business day. They weren't. No one knows where they are. No one will answer at my local branch. Hold time on the 800 number is over an hour. Waste of my time and money

So my package is not left but my mail was. Says they cannot get to my door? Really its in the middle of 5 acres of grass so that is to hard to get to? Cannot find the door by following the sidewalk? So we call and guess what she puts me on hold and never comes back. Gotta love it no wonder people get pissed at the post office.

The Springfield post office is the worst post office I have ever dealt with in my life. This is the fifth time I have had mail delivered to my home and not left in my mailbox. The first time, it was thrown in my front yard to blow around. The second time, was thrown next to my front porch, the third time stuck in the screen door, the fourth time tossed in my backyard next to my fence, this time wedged in the metal bars on my front door. I have a mailbox, hanging by my garage door nothing blocking the view of it, and has address on it. So why is it so hard not to put my mail in it?? I have gone and spoken to the supervisor and was told that was unacceptable, he would deal with it. Went a few months after the first incident this time took pictures of where it was found. Again unacceptable I will talk with all mail carriers and let them know where mailbox is located. I will yet again be going tomorrow this time with video. If delivering mail is this difficult, or you can't read maybe they should be seeking a better education somewhere, or a different job that isn't so difficult. I'm fed up!!

It's sad for the umpteenth year you collect food for the needy my stuff has never been picked up!!!! The truck was parked 3 doors up!!!! ( No. Burnett Rd.) This is surely not the 1st time...I would get total rudeness with half dozen 8x11 envelopes of eBay merchandise I sold!!! I'm sure they are paid well to do a job, maybe they need a reminder of their commitment, have some respect and appreciation!!! A lot of people don't have it so easy!!!

The Springfield Post Office is one of the worst I've ever experienced. Recently we had an individual became so enraged he threatened the place with and spoke of shooting it up.. All I can say is that while that is unacceptable, so is the attitude and willingness of the staff to deal with problems. The post master does not even come in until 11am on most days! I want that job! How can they expect to run a decent business if the leaders and the workers do not give a damn about you or your packages? They are the worst people I have ever dealt with hands down.

I have been trying to reach someone at the post office for weeks to request a location change of my USPS deliveries from the front porch to the back porch, to prevent theft., with no luck. I have left messages on my porch regarding this matter, also with no luck. I am completely fed up with the lack of customer service provided by the postal service. Please advise as to how I can resolve this problem without having to make a trip to at office as I am disabled and find it difficult to get out.

Getting mail delivered to my home seems to be a hardship for the post office. I am lucky if I get delivery three times a week and even then, it doesn't come until after dark most days which prohibits me leaving mail to be picked up. Packages don't get delivered for days after they arrive in the P.O. Seems like nobody wants to work this route and so...nobody does!!! Service is terrible in my area.

I walked to the Downtown Springfield Branch from my office to buy stamps this morning at about 9:45. The machine was down so I went to the counter. There was one employee at a window. She looked at me and said nothing. No smile no acknowledgement. She appeared busy with something. She looked at me again and left for the back room. Another employee came out of the back room. He looked at me and said nothing. No smile no acknowledgement. He looked at me again and walked into the back room. I waited another minute or so and left with no stamps. I may have been willing to wait a little longer had someone smiled and acknowledged me. Interesting that both employees had the same response to a customer waiting for service.
