Zero stars. :-( The retail clerks did not open Sat. at 10:00 as usual and it was not stated on the website that they would be closed. People waited til 10:30 when someone finally got through on the phone to hear they weren't going to open. They had not posted a sign. Totally unprofessional!

URGENT FOR POST OFFICE. THIS APPLIES NATIONALLY. PLEASE.... NEVER EVER put packages against garage doors as happened to me Monday 12.11.2023. I pulled out of my garage and watched the door mostly close before driving off. I came back a couple hours later, my garage door was OPEN. The small package (an envelope) toppled into the garage when I opened the door using my in-car remote... pretty typical for people to do. The door re-opened a couple seconds after I drove off. It has never happened to me before, Post Office has always placed packages to the side of the garage door. But it probably happens all the time all over USA.

Our business route was changed 3 weeks ago. Since that time we are lucky if we have our mail delivered & picked up every other day. We are located off of Franklin Blvd, along with other business and student housing. Can not get an answer when calling the number the fill in Postal Service members are very apologetic, but was told they do not have a person assigned to our route. So here we are again waiting on our mail to be delivered, this affects our business and our clients that we serve as well as the Government entities we report to.

It's just a miserable to call this office. It's not that no body there to answer the phone, but they just hung you up, because they do not want to work.

Screw this post office. Will mark packages as delivered despite not showing up then will not help you because those packages were marked as delivered and there is nothing they can do. Even though they made the mistake. Get your act together. Start searching your trucks for this package, because I've got a lot of time to wait around delivery times...

Just got a package delivered by the lazy post women, ( or at least I think it was a women) delivered on the sidewalk in front of our driveway. What to hard for her relatives to steal packages she has to make it easier. Boy the post office has sure gone down hill over the years. Now all they hire is garbage that don’t do the job. I wish it was the other guy he would come in and smoke a bowl with me, I’d slip him a little weed and always got my packages. This turd mailwoman should be flushed. Hope trump comes back and finally ends this crummy institution.

I have had real issues with postal employees not doing their jobs. On Thursday November 18, 2021 in the early morning way, before USPS arrives at in my area, I put a piece of mail in my box to be picked up by the USPS. 2 days later it is still there and the flag on the mailbox is still up making it obvious there is mail to be sent. It is now 8:02 PM Friday November 19, 2021 and the mail is still there in the box with the flag up. About this time of year last year I had a package that arrived at the South Eugene post office according to tracking, but it took them 9 days to deliver the package. I made every effort to get the package delivered and to find out why the USPS refused to make the delivery for 9 days. But these grossly incompetent people are impossible to deal with. I make every effort to not use The USPS because they are so awful that I refuse to do business with them. I was a fool to think I could put a piece of mail in my mailbox and have it picked up and delivered to the address on the envelope. My mistake.

I have not received any mail since Wednesday, April 1 and am concerned as I am expecting an important delivery. I have heard that one can create an account. How would I go about this?

My car is parked on our neighborhood street, on the curb, 11+ feet away from the mailbox. It is within my legal right to park there. Yet I found a note in my mailbox today that my mail was being held at the post office due to my "blocking the approach to the mailbox." This is ridiculous. 11+ feet away, if the post office delivery person cannot drive around my car (like other cars parked on the street) to get to the mailbox, then that person might be inept at driving and should find another job. Trying to file a complaint with the USPS is nearly impossible.

The employees of the Postal Service have done a yeoman's job of keeping the mail and package deliveries moving during this time of crisis. To "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night ... ", we could add 'nor pandemics, nor wildfires, nor blinding smoke..." I do appreciate the effort put out by the Postal Service, and I want to thank them for that effort. That said... I am about at my wit's end over package deliveries. I work regularly, and am not generally home to receive packages during the day. I live in a exposed location, and packages left on the doorstep are likely as not to be stolen, vandalized, or damaged by the weather. I am happy to go to the Post Office and pick them up, when the carrier leaves a delivery notice. But they don't always do this; in fact it's been about 60/40 against. I have personally asked the postal carrier -- several times -- to not leave packages when no one is home, and to KNOCK before leaving a package on the doorstep, to SEE if anyone is home. I have made this request to the manager of my local Post Office station, both in person, and in writing. I have written to the head Postmaster in my area with the same request. Large, easy-to-read colorful signs are on all my doors, detailing this request: "Please knock. If no answer, please DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES. Leave a delivery notice in mailbox, and I will pick up at the PO" Seem like a fairly simple request. And yet I continue to have packages left sitting on my doorstep, all day, often in the rain. Several have been stolen. Especially annoying is when I *AM* home, and I exit, only to trip over a package that has been left in front of my door -- if anyone had bothered to knock, I would know it was there, and have taken it in. I do not understand this behavior. For many years, the PO almost never left a package without at least knocking. But for the past year it's been getting worse. I hope it changes soon, because when something gets left againast my express instructions to NOT leave it, if it is stolen, or if someone trips over it and is injured, that is the Post Office's responsibility. Please do the right thing.

I have not received any mail for the past two days. Weather is not ideal, but I also don't live too far from the post office. I don't understand when mail is or isn't delivered, but it is a service I expect to continue except in extreme situations. Please deliver my mail! Thank you.
