Amen. I needed to post a parcel before 7:00 pm tonight, so on the basis of this online info, I drove almost 40 miles to do so. Could not find the post office anywhere, and I’ve used it often in the past. So I presume it’s still closed, and probably that space is leased to another entity. If it’s been relocated, there is no sign saying that. I had to leave, and my parcel is still not in the mail. Maddening. No wonder people criticize the USPS if they can’t even update their website in a timely way.
Gentlemen USPS,
Ref; EW006322763US
This is my third and last direct claim.
On October 3, 2020 (3 MONTHS AGO!), I sent a 20-pound box to the city of La Florida in Chile.
I do not need your explanations, I am writing for a SOLUTION.
I will wait for your response for a few days, otherwise, I will send my claim to the general management and initiate the corresponding legal process.
Americo Cancino

I and many others had been in line for a half hour to 45 minutes in the lobby waiting to get in the the limited persons allowed area where the tellers are and you actually mail your packages In person from. I made it inside barely by 7pm when all of a sudden the male employee working goes and licks the doors barring the others who had been in line for well over 30 minutes by now from being able to mail their packages. When some of them made a fuss about it they were severely yelled at and given no sympathy or explanation except that the employees would get in trouble if they processed any more mail after 7 pm. This is ridiculous as my package was processed after 7pm. If there were no covid person limits on capacity this wouldn’t have happened. And even though I was still allowed to send my piece of mail this offends me none the less. It is xmas season of all times. This occurred During the 3rd week of December 2020 at the Portland airport USPS.
I would also like to add that I would like the extended hours of operation for being able to mail packages be reinstated either at this post office or the downtown one. Considering the size of this city it is necessary. Bring back the later hours of at least 8:30pm, 10pm close would be even better.
I just had a very upsetting encounter with one of your postal delivery drivers today at 11:43AM. We are located at 12839 NE Airport Way, Portland OR 97230.
The postal delivery man came in with no mask on despite us having a mask required sign, and me asking repeatedly for him to put a mask on.
This has happened 2 times now. Please advise what I should do. I would like to know who this person is, and that they will be wearing a mask from now on.
Thank you.

Penny, below, says the most awful woman is doing passports at the AMF. That's very odd since the website says this facility does NOT process passport apps. /// I have visited there several times over the years and found the service to be excellent including sending evening and weekend regs.
This office has the most awful woman doing passports, she has some purple in her hair. She is very rude and unfriendly. I wasn't called up at my appointment time, which i think defeats the purpose of making the appointment. She rejected mt documents, when i was told by another worker over the phone that i needed one OR the other not both. I think she chose to do this to me because i was antsy to get on with my appointment as i needed to get back to work.
This page is not accurate. It shows that this post office (counter service) is open daily at 8:30, which it is not. Please correct so that folks don't drive all the way there to just find the place closed.
As you can see on your own website, the cutoff time at the airport post office is 8:30pm, and has been for many years. Imagine my surprise, after driving all the way to the airport and arriving at 7:05, to find that all of a sudden the counter closing and cutoff time has been changed to 7:00pm, and that the Rush order I had spent four days on completing would not arrive on time. I am beyond livid.

I went to this post office after 8 PM expecting it to be open until 10 PM per the hours listed on this site but it was long closed. There were 13 people in line for the self serve kiosk who were also surprised and disappointed the retail hours (that we all relied on) are incorrect on this site.
I was dismayed at the service on Monday morning. There was only one very patient, hard working staff member. He did his best, but the line was long and he even had to lock many customers out in order to have a break. No wonder the Post Office has such a poor reputation...and not because the employees do not try. Management needs to assign more staff members, especially on Monday morning.
This is the WORST passport acceptance facility ever!!! The acceptance hours for passport are 11:30 - 4:30 pm. We came at 2:30 pm, giving us plenty of time, but stayed in line for 2 hours, there was one employee only accepting passports, his name was FRANKIE and he was SOOO SLOW!!!! Our time came up and he refused the service, said that it's too late and he can't accept our applications, the time was only 4:20 and one hour before that he gave out numbers and we were supposed to be his last customers, but Frankie did not take us! What a customer service!!! I hope the manager reads this and takes some actions - this is not a way to treat people.
Yes I agree. There is only 1 person there most of the time. There are friendly, I guess you can start a conversation with them and they might engage. But 1 person is not enough and hopefully a manager from pdx location is looking at this review and does something about it
I have never in all my life seen a person move slower than the woman who works at the front counter of the Airport Way, Portland location. I have never met a person who has NEVER smiled except for that woman. I have never seen a place of business more sloppily run or more lackadaisical than that Post Office. Every time I am in there the place is so full of people that are so mad and are just about ready to riot and then I will see that one woman, the only working employee, on a Monday morning 2 weeks before Christmas and she puts up the sign and walks away for ten minutes. She comes back out later and says she can't get into the safe. At this point about 4 or 5 people start swearing and leave, most of the others are openly condemning the whole place or are laughing in total disbelief. With the sole exception of Frankie, the employees in that place are the most useless, unfriendly, and downright glacial that I have ever experienced. Maybe you should spend less time photographing everyone's mail and more time training your employees or actually working. Every week that I have to put up with that useless being in that frustrating office I will file a formal complaint. Unacceptable, Unbelievable.
