Avoid the New Britain Post Office like the plague. On many occasions, Greg the postal worker there has been extremely rude to me as well as other customers. When I arrived today I could see he was annoyed with the customer in line before me. I'm not exactly sure as to why.
At my turn I asked to purchase a roll of stamps. While using my debit card there was some sort of problem. Something to do with a PIN. I was confused as to what the problem was. Greg, clearly annoyed with me came around to my side of the counter and canceled the transaction. He then proceeded back behind the counter and put the stamps back in the drawer. I asked him what I needed to do.. He said "Nothing, I'm not selling you any" . He then threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave. I told him to please do so as I walked out the door.
This man has been at this location for many years. Possibly ten or more. He is definitely not someone who should be working with the public. Shame on you USPS. I see this is not the first complaint regarding this man.
Don't believe me? I'm sure there is video evidence

I am in agreement with the reviews of the man that tends to the New Britain post office duties. I rarely have to go to this post office, but when I need to go there, I dread it. He is so rude and likes to make me feel inferior for some reason. I walk in there with a smile and a "how are you doing today?"..........just to receive him, standing up, puffing out his chest to speak down to me on so many levels. All I want to do is mail a small package. Next time, I will be speaking up to him, and asking him why he feels the need to talk to people in a nasty way. It is time for him to retire and take a home based job where he need not be in contact with people in person.

The man that works here is one of the rudest employees I have ever met. Every single time I come here he treats me as if I am a complete idiot and will go out of his way to make me feel dumb. Every word that comes out of his smart mouth is made to make you feel inferior. I simply tried mailing one box to my friend in the hospital and I’m new to using the postal service myself and instead of offering any sort of help, I was ridiculed and insulted on my own stupidity. I don’t know much about how to mail things and I simply just wanted to learn and he offered no support- only frustration and demeaning comments. Unfortunately I know so many others who simply avoid this post office because of this man. Something needs to change from up above and this man needs to be held accountable for the way he has been “working.” I’m reading that other people are boycotting this location just because of him and I think that this is simply just unjust. This is a great location and it’s being ruined by this employee and I think it’s time for a change.

The desk clerk at this location is extremely rude and shows no respect for customers. I would go into more detail but he's not worth it. Avoid this location if you can, I will never go back.
